I just noticed that with one of the dance pads I've bought, they included a list of warnings and disclaimers. I wanted to pass along some of my favorites (and I swear these are all real)
"Make sure to pave the cushion"
(I've looked at several "how to mod your pad" guides, and none of them ever mentioned asphalt)
"There is maybe have some white powder on the surface of the product"
(... because the factory that makes these pads is also an opium processing plant?)
"High technology product, do not apart, separate or fix it anyway. Or the damage can not be guaranteed"
(Oh, I'd say you could pretty confidently guarantee the damage if you take it apart)
"If this product can't work well, please connect with your supplier directly"
(I don't think the cord is long enough to directly connect it to the supplier)
"This product is made for indoor games only. Do not use it outdoors or in other occasion"
(So it's 'yes' to indoors, 'no' to outdoors, and 'no' to... other places? What other places? )
"Do not keep it... especially far away from fireplace"
(If I don't have a fireplace, is it ok if I keep it near the oven instead?) |

You left out my favorite one:
Young children must be guided to use it or need parents and teachers to accompany, in case to be tumbled by it
Don't you just hate it when the pad tumbles you?
And also:
Please do not jump strongly, that may bring troubles to the other person.
Ah, maybe that's why I don't do as well as I should. Somebody is jumping strongly bringing troubles to me...
Yes, I bought the same pad you did. I kept the instructions and threw out the pad. |

These are good examples of the phrase "engrish", which is japanese phrases, poorly translated into english, and made to sound funny or have another meaning. There is a whole site about it: http://www.engrish.com (shows merchandise with engrish phrases on it) |

Same, I was actually just looking for it.
Oh, and, Rychan, I updated my SM software to RC2, but, I can't get to the "Extra Modes" (Oni, Nonstop, etc..). Help would be appriciated . Thanks.
