Generally you should give these things a few days. People aren't always on the computer every day, so we generally run the polls at least a week.

hello. I wrote a FAQ awhile ago but the contributor i sent it to (Rychan i think it was) probably hasnt sent it in to you guys. should i send it to you guys or should i wait untill she sends it.

[edit] I've now tried to submit it twice and had it the forum come back and tell me that no such post exists...
[edit 2] Ok all is fixed and you should know by next week.
Again, I apologise for not getting this FAQ up the day it was sent to me.

Who did you send it to?
You can check your PM box to see if it has been received or not. If it appears in the Outbox, then it hasn't been received. If it's in the Sentbox, then it has been read.

I'm curious about something Cutriss (or any Contributor or Mod), when someone becomes a Contributor the next step is "Maniac member" right? I have read the FAQ describing how to do that:
"You can't. Maniac Members are our forums moderators. If you want to be a moderator, don't call us - we'll call you."
I read EVERYTHING here... literally, because i'm like a frikken' sponge..hehe... always looking for something more to learn... anywho, i'm just curious on how the whole process goes. Is it, all the mods come together and vote on who to become a Maniac member? I'm really curious and really do want to know more about DDR and the functions behind it all and what goes on behind the scenes  .
Yet again, just curious and nerdy (typical me)
