I remember someone going on about how they played DDRMAX in the arcades and bumble bee was on it, and how they were making the crowd roar.
blink.gif Bumble Bee is NOT on DDRMAX

This is where I would've pinned him as a liar. Crowds do not roar for Bumble Bee.

Or the crowd roared for them to get off the stage.

Sometimes it's amusing to listen to the tales from people such as that person.

There used to be a player around here who claimed he could freestyle to Drop Out on Maniac. Somehow, he strangely never did it...he said the bars needed to be off of the machine for it to work. When I, as the newbie I was at the time, asked him, I informed him that he was somewhat of a legend in the area due to this, and that the owners were willing to take the bars off of our machine in order for him to do it. He then had a sudden problem with his asthma and left the arcade in approximately half the time it takes to say "Whasupwitdat?"

EDIT: For as often as he was around, nobody ever knew this guy's name, he was known only as the "Drop Out Maniac Freestyler", or "The DOMF". How else can someone become so famous for something they never did?

Maybe it was a one time routine E19.gif Doing the exact same FS would probably be difficult. Maybe it was spontaneous FS or something. There are possibilities cause I don't think people would call him that if he just claimed he did that.

No, nobody around here ever saw him do it, that was the whole point. The story was relayed to me when I first began playing, this is just the one experience I had with him. Maybe I didn't explain it quite well enough, but it was obvious that he was just BSing.

Man, I hate it when people BS about ddr. This guy in my school says that he rocks at the game. Now, from my understanding, if you're going to say that you rock at a game, that must mean that you're good at it, which must mean that you'd have to play it a lot. He couldn't even name any songs, artists, or even the difficulties. He had no clue what I meant by gallops, crossovers, and air. And he says there's no such thing as a freeze arrow.

I figure, just let people say what they want. When it comes time, they'll realize that they're in trouble. Big crowd of people watching you, then ask them to try something when you're done. That'll get 'em.
