About the 2 guys that are in Some of the songs Like LOM

Okay, who are those 2 guys who are running, chasing each other around in the songs like LOM and others. I have been seing people make banners and avatars of them and other things like that (especially with rampage). And One more question. why in LOM, the guy with long hair is chasing the guy with the cap, and on the song Maximizer and the others I forgot, why is the guy with the cap chasing the guy with the long hair? Any answers will be aprreciated!

Okay, this is what I've gathered from the PSM video on IIDX...

The majority of the video is in black and white. The guy with the hat is trying to steal some strange tube full of color (you might have seen this tube on certain DDR backgrounds), and the trenchcoat guy is trying to keep him from doing so. After a while, the hat guy loses the trenchcoat guy and he breaks into a lab(?) with monitors that have the backgrounds from the different PARANOiA mixes. He finds the PSM monitor and takes the color tube from it.

Just then, the trenchcoat guy drops in and starts chasing him again. Near the part of the song that would feature the "death run", the trenchcoat guy closes the gap and is only a slight distance behind the hat guy. He grabs him by the face and quickly slams him to the ground (which you have to actually see; it looks painful), and takes the color tube from him.

Later, the color tube explodes in the trenchcoat guy's hand and a wave of color washes over the running guys. A couple scenes of the transforming DDR machine are shown, and the movie comes to a close.

If you find a thread that rampage posted in, you can actually hit the refresh button on your browser and see different scenes of this movie. Also, I recall someone on the boards mentiong...

Hat guy = dj TAKA
Trenchcoat guy = Naoki

Anyone who found some wrong info, feel free to correct me.

I always thought of it as the "essence of extreme", because when the canister is let out the Max2 machine gets upgraded to an Extreme. The canister is all dark purple and black, reminds me of Phazon from Metroid Prime. I don't know why Dj. Taka would want to keep Naoki from getting the extreme canister though :/.

For what it's worth, the long hair one looks a lot like dj TAKA while the guy being chased looks a lot like TaQ.

Read into that what you will. But, it wouldn't be the first time Konami has thrown some sort of in-joke into their videos.

I love that video, my random sig graphic generator uses a bunch of scenes from the IIDX PSM video.

Regarding the identities of the running guys: I just remember someone else on the boards mentioning that. Frankly, I don't think the hat guy is dj TAKA, and the trenchcoat guy barely looks like a caucasian Naoki. I (usually) just assume most people know more than me and go with what they say.
