I am curious to learn all the ps1/ps2 ddr or dance pad
compatible games. Some people have said
"You can play any game with the dance pad".
I disagree though, because there is not R1 L1 R2 L2
on a dance pad and many games require these buttons.
Here is the ones I have found so far, please add any I missed.
1) ddr(ps1)
2) ddr_konamix(ps1)
3) ddr_disney_mix(ps1)
4) junglebook_rhythm_groove(ps1)
5) ddrmax(ps2)
6) ddrmax2(ps2)
7) ddr_extreme(ps2)
8) britneys_dance_beat(ps2)
9) junglebook_rhythmgroove(ps2)
10 )athens_2004(ps2)

Yeah, Parappa the Rapper doesn't work (but it should, damn shoulder buttons!).
A friend of mine has played Viewtiful Joe with a dance pad. Apparantly, he can't run, but you can make him move by punching the direction you want him to go.

One day i got really bored and played Halo with my pad. I couldnt aim or change my view OR shoot but i managed to punch a grunt in the face before i died. I hate it when they get behind you because you cant turn.

How about street fighter? E4.gif
I think puzzle bobble and puzzle fighter would work too.

Just a quick thing here. Biabia, I think you're kind of confused on the meaning of the word "compatible". "Compatible" just means it can be used as a controller for the game. Whether or not it can be used effectively is another story entirely. A dance pad works with any PS1/PS2 game to an extent. I've tried playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 with a pad, and to a certain degree it does work. You have all the directions, and punch and kick. However, you won't have all the punch and kick strengths. Therefore, a dance pad is compatible with SFA3, but SFA3 can't really be fully playable with one.

Thanks! Ok, 'compatible' isnt the ideal term. To be clear, I am referring to games specifically intended to be used on a ps1/ps2 with dance pad. This would not inlclude games that require analog joysticks or the R1 L1 R2 L2 buttons for gameplay. E1.gif
