It's sad to say this but I actually do A LOT worse playing at home then when I'm at the arcade o.o I can barely AA anything half of the time at home but get lots at the arcade. It's probably just because my pad sucks but who knows.

I actually started playing at my house before the arcade, and i did that for about 8-9 months on one of those pads for $20 all by myself. I thought that i was having fun doing that, until i started going up to the arcade. That changed my life, literally. I hardly play at my house ever, (unless i'm having dire cravings and my parents won't let me go anywhere), and i'm up at the arcade at least 2-3 times a week. It is just so much funner and better on a machine. Period.

I think that it could go either way.
At the arcade, the pad and the game itself are unbeatable.
The better thing at home is that if you fail or trip or somethin awful happens, no one can see. Plus, you can customize the room that the PS2 is in. Like me.

the arcade is way funner to play at and better pads, playing at home is to get better and then go to the arcade to show your moves ^^.v

i play mostly in arcades. i don't have a ps2, xbox, ddr pads, or the games, but a lot of my friends do and i still prefer the arcade. the arcade atmosphere is fantastic; nothing beats running into friends there and such. the pads are also way better, i can't stand the pads that most of my friends have. they sound like diapers when you step on them and the sensors get out of place. >>;

For singles, i'd prefer home, i'll learn the song that i wanna play at the arcade at home and when i get pretty good at it, i'll play it at the arcade. For doubles, i would play at the arcade because the pads wouldnt move around as much.

i have the pad that comes with the UM2 bundle. it's ok it's just that i dont know if iam hitting the arrows half the time. the arcade pad is the best it is perfect in every way. But is the cobalt flux better? should konami let cobalt flux design a newer pad?

Arcade because it's difficult and trick bar is there. Ever try passing Max 300 on Heavy holding onto the back of a couch at home?

Not cool. Not cool at all.
