What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

I hate it when noobs that have never played or barely played think that DDR isnt that hard and try to do hard songs they can't do. Then they get really mad when they fail.

I hate it when I am playing and these kids come up and start talking to me while I'm playing and asking if they could finish up the song. Unless I am tired there is no way I am giving up my turn on the machine

People here are pretty respectful when it comes to DDR. There are only a handful of people who will hold onto the bar while I am playing, and I've only run into one guy that practices unsanctioned shadowing. That doesn't really even get to me. If he wants to play what I'm playing, I'll just play something he can't. He's welcome to try and look like a fool lol.

But the only thing that really gets to me is when people use the bar while playing. I believe the only use for the bar is to make sure you don't fall backwards off the platform and crack your head. I notice most people here think it's alright to do when attempting a hard song, but I'd still have to disagree lol.

My friend that I play with sings most of the songs and I don't have the heart to tell him that it throws myself/others off.

One time, I was playing PSMH against some guy. Twenty seconds into it, he failed, so he just started talking to me while I was playing...what the Hell is that?

Unsanctioned bar-hugging is also bad. I have one friend who does it, but the other one only bar-rapes on Max 300 on heavy. and manages to AA it.

2. For some reason, people who shadow period aggravate me. It's just that they aren't actually playing, so it's useless and looks dumb. It's even worse when people do it on the ground :\

4. Occasionally, I put my hand on the bar to catch my balance. It really screws me up when people are watching me and holding the bar, so I touch their hands when I'm expecting metal.

Basically everything mentioned on these posts annoy me. I need full concentration when im playing and i dont need a bunch of people laughing at me or trying to talk to me. Although i dont mind shadowing, what i hate the most is when you have a bunch of 'high ego noobs' that say they are better than you at it (i was at standard at the time) when they havent even tried it, then, they get on and fail the first song on light. Now that im pretty much on heavy, i would love one of them to challange me and try to make me look like i suck at it again.

1. sometimes when iam playing at my arcade some noobs keep saying "why do boys play this game?" then i tell some of the people that ask I like it and most people who play are boys

2. people that sometimes take pictures right in front of me and sometimes i think they do that on purpose just to blind me.

3. people who look at your stuff and sometimes take them. some one almost stole my sweather once.

4. that bald bastard at my arcade who works there and tells me not to sit o the air hockey table because it is just behind the ddr machine. but the thing can even support a fat person. the same bald bastard turned off the machine in the middle of a game because they were closing the arcade!

I hate:
1. People making fun of it.
2. People who think they're better than me and aren't.
3. Unaskedfor shadowing.
4. Little kids getting on the pad (not where I am but you never know, they only go on when no one's there. They must be getting smarter.)

But I'm lucky, arcade operators all play DDR or respect those who do, little kids aren't that retarded, and not many of those really idiotic people who make fun of it.

for some reason the only thing that makes me snap when i'm playing DDR is when people get behing the pad and try and step on your down arrow. Nothing else bothers me but when people do that I just flip out!
I've bugged out several times on babies and big gangsta people alike.

Yes, I agree that those are all REAL peeves while playing. Another thing that pisses me off is when watchers (primarily little kids) see you playing and decide they want to try it, so they start stepping on the arrows WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING. Then you step on their foot and get off rhythm, or trip...

Also, I hate when people playing !STOMP! Its like they think they have to hit the panels really HARD to get them to register the note. Because you know... evryone else is stomping while playing. Its really loud and it sucks if I'm playing with a Stomper. It screws me up, hurts my ears, and hurts me of the inside...

Shadowing at the middle of a song or behind me. I do alot of freestyle spins, so when I turn and see the guy/girl playing behind me, I want to slide kick them under the trick bar.

People who hold the trick bar when I'm playing. They just use it to rest their hands ot rest their heads on it. I almost got into a fight with someone because I went to grab for it on Sakura and poked this guy in the eye. HILARIOUS.

People who shadow, with the trickbar, behind me. That's just ludacris. You're not even doing the steps correct either.

Also, coin line disregarders, and parents who think.. no no no.. they -KNOW- it's their kids turn up because they walked in the store and it's good enough reason for them. "That's why your kid just failed Captain Jack on Light you stupid b1tch!"

Coin-line theives.

Also, people who laugh. I know they're going to laugh, I know they are, but at least do it at the end of the song when you congradulate me with your sarcasm.
