What game is this Max. (period) on? I tried looking using search and that didn't work and I was scrolling thru pages and couldn't find it. If someone could explain what it is that would be great. riiight.gif

Its another Max song (like Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, and The Legend of Max). Its hard, got a lot of jumps and the last part of the song reaches up to 600 bpm. Its only on the japanese version of extreme console version, and I dont think anybody in the world AAA'ed it.

Everything from this was done on feet

This particular picture was done with a controller, but oh well.

And I don't know about the UM expansion pack, I never heard anything about it.

When you can get 2 greats on Maxx unlimited,it's really not that hard considering the fact it's on home,so it wouldn't count anyway.

I heard that the next one they release in the arcade will have evry song from evry game on there but thats just what I heard. And I also think its easier than PSMO and yes I have done it on foot. And Max period woud probly be easier to AAA than Unlimited because it has no double steps. But that also doesnt mean that Unlimited is a hard song. Unlimited is really only about as hard as 300 or PSurvivor.

I doubt MAX. would hold less of a challenge in any aspect compared to MaxX Unlimited. And for the record, I've never seen where you have to double step in MaxX Unlimited anyway...so I don't see your argument there.
Anyway, MAX. requires a little more stamina (and surely more sight-read ability) than MaxX, and the last part seems more overwhelming than anything I've played on MaxX, so I think it's fair game to say that it would most likely be harder to keep up with throughout, and harder to PA.

I dunno...that's just me.

bull crap theres no double stepping are u serious. It does it like 15 times. wheather u see it or not stepping into a jump is a double step especially when its a down step into a left down jump. That is a double step. And yes It does that many times over the course of the song. Try looking at the stepcharts first then say something.

Oh, whoops. So Aaron did it. Didn't read that right, I guess.

And Afrobolt, I usually think of double-stepping when it involves only single arrows. I don't interpret double-stepping with having to double step from a single arrow to double-arrows, just because in that situation, you ALWAYS have to do it no matter what, since we only have 2 legs...and you end up doing more of jumping in that situation, anyway.

But whatever. In your context, then yeah, there's double-stepping in MaxX.

I just checked with my dog, and even HE agrees that a step into a jump isn't a double-step E4.gif

I hope I'm not threadjacking or whatever by posting this (if I do, sorry):
I heard the BG Animation is some flashback through the history of DDR: can anyone fill me in on it?
