I've been writing letters, printing out articles, even bringing in the game, to school. Still, they say no. The only reason why is the money.

A lot of the articles floating around mention that schools have been using grant money to fund DDR and other 'new' methods of exercise. You might want to mention that possibility to the faculty at your school, though it means that somebody on staff would have to first sit down and find a suitable grant and then go through the application process.

I go to one of those schools that always places top in the state and all of that silly school stuff, and we have the highest expectations and the most pointless rules. Ehh I'd probaly get paddled or something if I even proposed the idea of a video game in school.

I never seen any schools with DDR before? Though, I live in San Jose, California... Only school I seen with a DDR machine is SAn Jose State University. But now they took it off and replaced it with Time Crisis III. Good game, but not as good as DDR... Nuuu! Owell, thats it.

We have a machine at our school and it sucks to play there. Step away from the machine! They are so lucky I don't use the matrix move E7.gif I'm being a little too hard here. Freestylers have no respect. I have a GREAT routine (under KevinKim and dj8 though) but noone cares about that. "Freestyling is so easy" Said a kid. He then chose a slow song and put it on trick. That song the kid played without the bar AKA freestyling disgust.gif . The croud was really amazed. frust.gif My turn I chose Luv To Me on Basic biggrin.gif . I got my friends to clap the beat. On "I need you now" I did one of my signature moves and got booed by the crowd. You know how you want clean hand movements? "Look he's waving his arms like a monkey" I thought having a DDR machine at my school would be amazing. It is very unpleasant.

Oh that's unfortunate. I would still love a machine at my school though because everyone in my school is horrible, so I would look amazing compared to everyone else. It'd make me feel all tingly inside E1.gif .

My teacher is trying to get a laptop hooked up to a projector and then set up Step Mania on it. And then for a grade she'll have us vs. each other, and just take our grades that we got on the song lol (she's lazy with grades). I wish we had a machine though T-T I can't use those little foam pads anymore.

We are using it for gym right now. And as of yesterday, we have a DDR Club in the works, it's been approved and everything. But first we gotta decide to go with RedOctanes or see what the school currently has. ((Oak Forest High School, Illinois))

I'm trying to either star a DDR club at my school or do DDR as alternitive gym credit.

The local high school around here has a club which meets after school every week, complete with 2 cobalt flux pads.

None of that money came from the school, of course. Let's just say LOTS of candy bars.

My school had ddr for a little while. The problem was people started betting me money that they could beat me and I beat them and they were paying a lot for the machine, and the principal said that was causing to much of a problem and they didnt have the money for that so they took it out of the school.
