Who's "he"? You don't mean the artist of Mobo Moga, do you?

Mobo Moga is sung by a girl. Where's the "him" in this song? Unless you happen to know who made the beats for it...

And yes, those lyrics are sounding pretty Frenchy to me.

On the back of the Extreme US v-rare, Mobo Moga is listed as "French Pop".

BTW check out this explanation of the Japanese origin of moba moga:

http://www3.la.psu.edu/textbooks/172/ch10_main.htm

I have no idea of the reliability of the reference, but it's interesting.

You guys should ask at www.bemanistyle.com I remember reading a very interesting discussion explaining the origins of Moba Moga and other songs by Orange Lounge. What I remember from the discussion is that Orange Lounge is actually one of the Bemani groups that we commonly recognize. That Bemani group is based in Japan so the music isn't really "French pop". The songs including Moba Moga are sung in French, but the songs by Orange Lounge do not actually come from France. I guess you could call it "French pop" if you only consider the langauge being spoken.

Mobo Moga is done by Orange Lounge.

Orange Lounge is Tomosuke Funaki (aka Tomosuke) and Shizue Tokui on vocals.

Lyrics from http://faqs.ign.com/articles/550/550919p1.html:

Quote:

par la fenetre de ta fiat 500
tu me regardius et je t'ai vu
tes gout semblanit parfait

on s'est compris tout de suite a fond
et des rendez-vous de la nuit
parfois on s'attend sous la pluie
et tout, c'etait miracle

la musique !
les yeux dans les yeux
nos histoires romantiques
on commence tous les deux

pres de moi?

English Translation:

From the window of your fiat 500
you were looking at me and I saw you
Your taste seems perfect

We understood each other right away completely
and night-time rendez-vous/meets.
Sometimes they wait for each other under the rain
And all of it, it was a miracle.

The music!
gazing into each other's eyes
our romantic stories
It starts with both of us

Close to me...

Credit for the lyrics goes to the DDRMX forums. I'm told these are not
entirely correct, so any French-speaking people out there who wish to lend a
hand, please do so.

Ya, that english translation is pretty good. Some of the words in the french are spelled wrong though, mostly in the verb endings. E1.gif
