My kid's not the youngest I've ever seen, but I haven't personally seen any players as young as he is who are as good. He was AAing some catas when he was 9, and passed Max 300 just a few months after his 10th birthday. |

I saw a girl who might have been anywhere from 9-12 last night. It was funny, because as a beginner she was understandably going back to the middle, like almost all beginners do. And then her mom went on to try and show her how it was done, and she was doing the same thing, and got I think an even lower score on the same song.
It's so funny when parents look and think it's easy and that the only reason why their kid can't do it is because they're too young and just don't understand it properly, and then they try and fail miserably. _________________

i work at an arcade, and i seen a 7 year old, and his sister (who was like 9), any who, he was doing cata's and 8 footers in reverse with speed mods. it was crazy!!! (on heavy) and his sister was on standard. i talked to his parents, and they said when he started playing, all he did was reverse, and thats how he learned it. his dad was like a ddr tournement guy that ran the local tournements, so, i guess he got his kids interested, and his wife, cuz the whole family of four was dancing to the music, like the parents were behind the bar... havent you ever seen that? people behind the bar try to do the song buy stepping on the ground? well ne ways, it was pretty flippin sweet! _________________
