What's on your feet while playing DDR?

i like use Converse low/high tops...they are flat soled shoes, but i think i can move faster in em...i dunno...anything but shoeless...that hurt the last time my toe made a date with the pad screws....its officially off of course...hehehe

I usually play with just socks, i have a soft pad and I dont wanna ruin it... but at the arcade I wear my Gallaz or flip-flops

I wear Athletic Works "Danger" running shoes I bought from a Wal-Mart in Corpus Christi, Texas.

i play in Adio Soluses. They're like Vans except more expensive. You can get them at Pac Sun, Zumiez, or any other skating store. They're not very good with DDR though it does seem like.

I got some black Champion sneakers. Nothing specials about them. Oh and I just recently bought some of those Dr. Sholes gel things and they actually help a lot with sore feet. I don't come home with blisters from 8 straight hours of DDR anymore

I used to do barefoot, until I bruised the bottom of my foot real bad on my friends metal pad.


Now I'm socks on my soft pad, sometimes in arcade if its me and my friends. Normally I wear my old adidas in arcades.

Anywho, socks are a must on plasticpads, because you will just end up breaking your pad with shoes. but, with the cobalt flex metal pads, and arcades, I like to use my lucky DDR shoes, Basically a pair of beat up Nikies.

If its a metal pad then i play with my converses, but if its not a metal pad I just play in socks.
