The clock ticks, you cant stay still. you tap your pencil insistantly on the drawing of a kawaii version of you playing on a dance pad. you just had a thought for a really awesome turn around step transition for the last combo part of "drop out". you cringe and cling on to your desk. you HAVE to get home and play. so the question is....how do you deal with the urge?

I have those insane little twitches to go to the arcade all the time. Heh, I just try to shake them off, or if I can't go to the arcade, I'll just play my home version.

Well, you just go and play. Or you can just hum a DDR tune in your head, that usually kills the cravings for me.

I drew a ddr pad in my notebook, just big enough for my hands.
Then I print out some step charts. When things get rough, like the urges you mentioned above. I just go to my notebook and pull out the step charts and start using my fingers to step to the chart.

Of course this was while in school.

I'll admit, if I go long enough, I start pheening for it as well. I can find other distractions to rid myself of it, but that's usually nowhere close to being as satisfying as a good session. Everyone has a fix, ya know. DDR is a good one, too.
