I started years ago a little bit before DDR USA came out. I played it for a month or two, stopped, but started again alittle bit after DDRMAX2 came out for PS2. On a 7-9 footer level now... and bag 3x _________________

August 13, 2003. I was at my bro's apartment in Illinois and he had just bought this new game for his PS2 to play on his big screen. I was perfecting Lights until March, then I introduced my friends to it, and they got better than me. They introduced me to Heavy, and I've been doing those ever since. _________________

My first time was when my cousin dragged me to a machine in San Diego. God, I sucked. The first time I hard-core played? Two months ago when I played for 6 hours straight, |

June 18 2001, I obtained 3rd Mix and started playing nonstop. It was funny, because 1 foot songs were hard for me, but now I look back on it and see how bad I was. |

July 23, 2001, in an empty ski resort in Canada.
Had seen it a year before in Manila, but by then, even the little tiny schoolgirls were playing SSR so I didn't have the guts to try it. |

I started on October 14th, 2003. First song I played ever on the machine was that night and it was Drop The Bomb on light...think I got a B or something. I picked up the basics pretty fast. |

I started...about...Mid July (Down in Kahunaville) in Syracuse....my best buddy (Erik-Superstumpy) wanted me to give it a shot and put me up on Captain Jack for my first song...Needless to say, I got overwhelmed by not knowing what the hell to do, and walked off the machine. I decided to go up and try again...figure maybe i'll understand it better. I got the hang of it, and its been memories ever since. _________________

Ive been playin ddr a year now. It all started at a school fieldtrip to the bowling alley they had solo 2000. i put is 50 cents and tried out light mode. i was gettin C's and D's in light mode on my first trys. then i steeped off the pad and saw a popular class m8 try it. he sucked so but it was funny even for me at the time . so we left. about then whenever i went to the bowling alley i tried it out that was about every month or two. but one day near my x-mas of 2003 i saw a home version in a store. thats where it all started. i couldnt believe it when i saw it i was so excited i was talking about it so much i ended up gettin it for x-mas. i did lesson mode and got up and up and better everyday. then b4 knew it i was at standard in about 2 week. in a month i was going to heavy. now after a year i am getting A's on tsugaru compared to getting d's on light mode songs. currently in the bowling alley we had ddr max but when they tried to upgrade to max2 the system crashed so it was downgraded to 5th mix which is $1 for 2 ppl instead of the usual 50 cents. but soon they r gonna get the disc and upgrade it to ddr max2 the right way. and i shall improve drastically when they do. _________________

I find this rather akward. I'm reading about people taking MONTHS to get onto STANDARD after first starting to play. I started about 3 weeks ago and I'm moving onto heavy. I'm moving up just as fast as my friend James. I don't know, maybe I'm just a very quick learner. |

December 25, 2003. My cousin got Ultramix for Christmas and we played for like 6 hours nonstop. I sweating so bad, I had to take a cold shower. I bought Max2 the next day. |
