rock/techno?
Uhm where do you find like ANY connection? *scratches head* Out of the given choices I would so be able to feel pop/dance, but I would love to see some like swing/big band songs, but then again swing dancing is a favorite past time of mine. _________________

ehh, i was just being creative, rock and techno, rock or techno, thats what i meant basically, but i know for a fact that the 2 could be mixed, and that they have been mixed, its just what you think of it really linkin park for one, they got techno, as far as I know, rammstein, i think they do, and other bands, but if ppl feel differenlt, then decide between them, sry for the confusion, A-dios Biz-Natches _________________

I would be a #2 first, for sure. A little more of #1 couldn't hurt, but with more jumpy-streaming (think Upside Down, DXY!) in it, and some more voltage-spurt sections. Or more stuff like HIGHS OFF U. But then, I actually like "Kids in America", too. |

thats more rock and house being mixed
techno is a sub genre of electronica which sounds very different than what linkin park uses =) _________________

YES! Swing would be so good for DDR, because it's already a dance style, so it would work very well. As long as the 8th steps are written swing (i.e. triplets missing the second one) instead of straight (only thing I hate about Only You). That, and more drum-and-bass, maybe some lounge jazz.
Wouldn't it be awesome to dance to Ol' Bue Eyes? That would be a riot. They definately need to put some lounge songs in there. I wanna dance to Sinatra now. _________________

Naww, I swing dance a lot, and I don't think it would be very good for DDR. I don't know, swing music is cool when you're swing dancing to it, but it just would seem crappy to be stomping around to like "Sing, Sing Sing" or something. Just...lame...
Anyway, we do have a sticky for this kind of discussion.
