I remember... WAAAAY back when... This site had DDR movies uploaded each week portraying some of the best freestyles across the world, mostly Korea and Japan. I'm talking oldschool sheisse here, A-Team old.

I was just thinking that, well, it's been a grand amount of time since all of those movies that maybe it'd be a good idea to start posting them again. Maybe?

I dunno. Just new freestyles to me seem weak, they don't impress me nearly as much as the days when I got to see the Dead End double freestyles and the Brilliant2U Orchestra Groove freestyles done. Even the old one where the guy was falling on his keister made me laugh.

Just a thought.

What we should do is:Have the admins here start a donations thing and anyone who wants the videos can donate 5+ dollars. Then they have the money and you have the videos, everyone's happy.

If we COULD have them up, we would.

But they cost around $400 a month to host, and that's a lot of money.

I make sure when I download from DDRUK do make myself a seed!

I've never had a problem finding seeds either...

Bittorrent sounds like a good way to go... maybe the mods could be our seeds!^^

Sweet idear!

You could just grab a random video from the video thread in gameplay, or sherl0ks website.

Mod of the month only gives like 30 of the upper members a chance to shine.

DDR weekly/monthly videos. Yeah, that works for all of us, you will never know if your video will be picked! -insert excitement here-

Whoever gets picked could possibly get a 3 question interview (if its freestyle, explaining the moves. If it's PA/tech, explaining techniques of how to do the song in certain parts.) Idunno, just thoughts.

I'm sure a lot of us want to see this in effect.

If someone will start a torrent file for qkumber's legend road doubles video, I will host the file long enough for some people to download and seed (I would start a torrent, but I dont know where the torrent maker went on my computer)

I think that a freestyle through the ages weekly movies would be good. Like, y'know what I mentioned earlier, have older freestyles.

New freestyles are weaksauce. Very few get me to comment positively and even fewer make me think any of 'em put effort into it sans the night before the tournament.

The older ones I have and have seen just blow me away, like the four person freestyle on Pump It Up. That one still takes me back to the days of awesome.
