I wholeheartedly agree with this argument.

In my opinion, PSMO is that hardest DDR song. More than any max, as far as ive seen. confusing steps, crossovers, quick moving...its tough. I'd crap my pants if i even passed it. Harder than LoM...but i havent seen Max. in action, ive only seen the stepchart.

i agree, max. (period) gets pretty crazy when it speeds up to 600 BPM. its also a friggin' 9 footer in light. i can barely do it on light on stepmania.

Max. isn't that hard to read. Instead of reading the arrows while they're at the middle/top of the screen, just read them while they're still at the bottom.

Granted, it's still a Max, and still difficult to AAA, but it's not impossible. Heck, I've gotten nine Greats out of a fluke, and I don't even consider myself to be that good. blink.gif

I play all of those songs on stepmania, but I can't do any 10 footers on feet, so my opinion is probably not the best source. However, by my estimation, this is how it goes. Max.(period) has two sets of 10 footer steps, heavy and oni. The oni steps are significantly easier than the heavy steps, but they are still pretty difficult (stupid 600bpm, makes any friggin steps in that area hard). The heavy steps are insane. I personally find them harder than PSMO, but blah, I play on stepmania, so the crossovers on PSMO don't really have their full effect when you play on keyboard. PARANOiA ~Respect~ is one of my favorite songs in DDR altogether. Great music, great steps. I find it a lot less intimidating than any of the songs I mentioned, including Max.(period)'s oni steps. It is a lot more logically broken down than, say, PSMO. At least for me, PSMO is like, nonstop, and each section kind of flows into the next, where as PARANOiA ~Respect~ is more logically broken down into parts, sort of like a Max song would be. I really don't like the song Max.(period), so I don't play it that much, but from what I have played of it, it seems to be kind of like PSMO in the way that the parts kind of flow into each other. Anyway, I hope this clears up some stuff. In conclusion:

PARANOiA ~Respect~ = easier than people make it out to be (btw, ignore the freeze arrows in the end runs, just treat them as normal arrows and it'll all work out) but a totally awesome song nonetheless
PSMO = Freaking hard. Exactly as hard as people make it out to be.
Max.(period) Heavy = Holy crap. Play this song while holding a crucifix. The music sucks in it anyway.
Max.(period) Oni = Music still sucks of course, but it's not that difficult (I say this not even able to beat Max 300, heh)

Is that it? I think so. Yeah, whatever. I ramble.
