alright, this thread should be locked.

Anyways, I dress like a goth, however, there is not way that an entire group of people thinks exactly the same. I enjoy the clothing. Hell, I sympathize with the EMO ones, but just because I dress that way, does it make me a goth?

Even thoug i totally agree with the original thread maker. I think we should re-word goth. Because right when the word gothw as said everyone was all defensive like, "I WEAR DARK CLOTHES BUT I'M GOTH" Well, it's still very odd that someone who likes really hard core bands that require them to wear they're shirts in black like happy jumping up and down J-Pop songs sung by little 20 year old goodie good QTs.

It still brings up the same point. By GOth the tread creator meant more like, people who are INTO wearing dark clothes showing they are hard core people, that is what the term goth is now. It doesn't matter at all if you prase the dead and bow down to Satan. IN THIS WORLD(2004) IF YOU WEAR ALL BLACK. You might as well wear a T-Shirt that has a "Parental Advesirey(I AM GOTH)" Sign on front and back.

Almost same thing goes for hair. Ypou might as well shave "Goth" into it. Everyone will look at you black hair bangs covering one eye and shaved in the back wearing some anime bunny ears. And say Goth, it doesn't matter if your nice. The world is not perfect, people judge books by their covers whether people like it or not.

I realize we all hate Goths, but really, in the end, who gives a crap? Let 'em be what they want. I'm sure they have a secret community somewhere where they're all screaming "OMFG DID YOU SEE THAT GUY!? HE WAS NOT GOTH, HE SUCKS!" sarc.gif

I do believe the original thread creater has a distorted perception of "Goth" and anime though...

So let me get this straight, a lot of my clothes are black, in fact whole outfits are, but they are also things such as button up dress shirts and such, but still by the definitions you've give, I'm a "goth". This thread just gets more and more ignorant every post.
