spiral galaxy is one of the three unlocks on 8th style CS. The other two: T.A.I.Y.O. and Don't Be Afraid Myself. In order to unlock spiral galaxy and TAIYOU, play all the 8th style songs and the CS exclusives (a la murmur twins unlock on 7th style CS). However, you cannot use Easy Option on this one. It has to be either in Normal or Hard Mode. And they have to be played on one mode only (light7, 7keys, or another7).

What's really cool about 8th Style is that Shoichiro Hirata is shown a lot of love this time around. Almost all of his songs are in this style.
Another cool thing about the Limited Edition is the little cardboard case thing that fits all 6 of the PS2 IIDX games in one neat little section. Its like I can say I have the Beatmania IIDX Boxed Set. |

hmmm....
I really have a BIG uh-oh on that note.... usually when there are boxsets to an anime that means that its complete and you can't fit anymore DVDs because the series is over....
I hope this doesn't mean that Konami's final IIDX CS release is 8th style, cuz if all IIDX games fit in a box, then there really is something fishy  |

I was late on the draw with 8th CS and it's gonna be another 10 days til I get it since I'm cheap and didn't want to spend 20-some bucks on 2-3 day shipping. u_u
I've been wasting my time with 7th and working my way back down to 3rd...just to play 7th again. >.<

Hi, 8th Style is the bomb.
Seriously though, is there a bad song on this style? (Not counting the repeats which are getting tiring.)
Spiral Galaxy and T.A.I.Y.O. or whatever, are awesome songs! I thought I'd hate them, but they rock. 11th Style is starting to look good. Great videos and everything! (Wish I could race a car with the beatmaniaIIDX logo on it!) |

Not true. We passed every new song on L7 without using easy, and only got TAIYO. |
