since ive gotten my red octane metal mat, ive been using a pair of rebok (spelling?) running shoes that i got for track a while ago. i like them cuz they're light, and easy to move around in. one problem is, they dont stick very good, so i just put some windex on the bottem and they work just fine.

I play in these old Reebok running shoes, they're really lightweight, but slide alot.
I tried gettin some Vans, but they are too narrow at the toes and give my feet blisters. E2.gif

I wear my K-swiss and my nikes. I think anything that is light and can be tied very tight is perfect for DDR...I did play DDR in High top timberlands cuz i ran into a machine once and it was the only thing i had on but in the middle of the song i just moved too fast and they flew off so i finished wit my socks.

I think I might play better with barefeet, but I don't wanna screw up my toes/heels/other areas of footinology. Still stickin' with my green Chuck Hi-Tops thumb.gif

I have a pair of Nike running shoes, a pair of Saucony Jazz shoes, and a pair of generic brown sneakers. I like playing in the brown sneakers since they're broken in and don't have thick soles, so they don't aggravate the arches of my feet (I play flatfooted). I really don't play with them anymore since the soles are worn enough that I lose traction, especially on the local ITG machine.

I've tried to switch back to the Sauconys for traction's sake and it's sort of working.

Once I have the money to spend (that's not going towards bills and the like) I would love to get a pair of dance sneakers from Capezio to go stepping in. I borrowed my sister's pair while I was visiting home last year and it was so much easier. They slide nice, like a broken in pair, and make pivots smoother, imo. But, until then, I wear my ratty old tennis shoes from Payless E10.gif
