The first place that you played DDR

First time was my after prom. From midnight to 3 am i played nearly the entire time. On occassion my friend would try to pull me off cause he said i was obsessed...nonsense. No way! Me obsessed?

I think it was Max 2 and i played in light mode.

my first time was at my friends house for a b-day party. he had a copy of DDRUSA and i think the first song i played was drop the bomb beginner. i wasnt that bad actually. then after that night, i didnt really get a chance to play for a few months.

My first, ever, was on the DDRMAX US at my friend's house.

First on an arcade was at the mall on the 1st mix, about a year and a half ago. Geez, this little kid was making fun of me because I couldn't do eigth notes. Now, I'm pretty much the most skilled regular who goes there...and I still play at the mall for DDR. (We have EXTREME as well)

2002, My newly aquainted friend (ryanddrpro) told me about DDR and its awesomeness, I went to his house and played Konamix. I didn't like it, but he kept forsing me to keep playing, so I ended up LOVING this game!!
Months later, I went to a Three Dollar Cafe' and they had 3rd Mix Korean v2, and that was my first arcade game, the song was Butterfly I think.

The first time I played was on a DDR USA machine at Paramount Carowinds. My first song was Brilliant2U on Standard. Yeah, I was an idiot.

It was at Hyperspace, MD. I had seen it before, so i was curious to try it. There were some regulars there, so i sat and watched a while. One of them noticed me sitting there and then told me what a coin line is. So i waited untill it was my turn. One of the regulars got up on the pad and played my round w/ me. I forget which songs, but i was hooked.
