Um, you're tired of it?

Try modding this place.

Does that mean than I can be a MOD! laugh.gif

I'd have to agree with Caltrops, A LOT. This board is way overmoded, one of the reasons I rarely post (and I'm sure it's also a reason a lot of people don't even come to these boards anymore) is because there isn't much you can post anymore without having your topic LOCKED. I've seen more than enough stupid locks as well, over stuff that has a purpose. This is the most modded board I've ever seen, it's no longer to have a good time here but to "ask a question or answer one and then go away until something else comes up"

Haha. I remember this FAQ. I've had that saved in my "Jokes" folder for almost a year now. I may have quoted it a few times.

It's still funny. And true.

I think the best way to ace a song is to study it. I think that the song ABSOLUTE by dj taka is one of the best I am really good at it on havey.

Isn't that assuming too much?

Also, this thread appears to apply more to singles mode than Doubles.

No. Not really assuming much at all. I'm pretty sure that if someone has thought of a freestyle here, someone in [insert a country or state here] has thought of it before. My friends and I thought we were the only ones who barhopped backwards, spun in mid-air, and landed facing the screen. We later found out that some tall asian kid in South Carolina does it too.

Great FAQ! laugh.gif Like anything else we read, we are free to take the parts that make us laugh and ignore the rest - it's just someone's opinion. The bottom line is clear enough - the best improvement comes the hard way.

Q: How do I pass So Deep?
A: Play again and again until you finally pass it?

Some songs on Doubles don't exactly take on the step characteristics of their Singles counterparts. So Deep HVY Singles is a continuous back-to-back gallop stream with jackhammers while So Deep HVY Doubles is spinny and stretchy to do. E10.gif

They're called drills, not jackhammers. If you've ever played Dead End and have seen those constant up notes, that's a jackhammer.

Anyway, I knew all the stuff in this FAQ, but it is still kind of helpful to me. E7.gif

And I'm going to have to agree with these two also. The boards are way over-modded. But I also have advice for you two. Go to your local regional board, as it is much easier going. E13.gif See 'Southern California'. I don't want to contradict myself, but I'm pretty sure the top and middle forums are for DDR, it's hardware, and other games, and not messing around, as I believe that's what your local regional board is for. biggrin.gif

In one great freestyle routine I came up with, I started V on Challenge, ran over to the table, poured some gasoline on the machine and tossed a lit match onto it. I've never seen THAT in a routine before.

I didn't pass the song during that routine, though... E2.gif

Actually it does help if you put the weights above your knee. It increases muscle enduance.

And also the wieghts can help you with reaction time for when you step on the pad so it could help you. But you would need a metal pad or a really good foam pad... Ten pounds should help the most.

In the spirit of the first post... this thread should be locked. Every post after the first has been completely pointless as the first one explained and I shall add to the pointless posts as I solicit a lock for this thread from the next admin to read this post.

HURAY I also posted in a legendary thread... but on the second page =(.
