What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I play in my old school addidas *lol*, but I also like playing w/o shoes.

Vans are the way to go, I just got new ones, but they aren't broken in so I don't do as good as I normally do.

I do it bare foot, in crocks, clogs, macasins (i am not native so i cannot spell that 1 right) I use my addidas to grove like a MASTER! and somtimes i will brake out the platforms so I can work it like the hip lady on the cover does!

I always play in the classic converses. For some reason if I use any other shoes, I screw up. I think it's because with the converses I can feel if I miss the arrow or not.

Most of the time I wear the Adidas Metrum's or my Fila's either one I don't really care.

at home on my ignition pad i just wear my socks but in the arcade i usually wear my steel toes for a little added weight

ehh..I dont mind plaing barefoot..it gives me alittle more(non-slip action) But..then if i play fer a couple of hours..My feet sweat then I slip..so I rather play in barefoot or my emericas..either or, its all good! xx

I play with socks at home, but then I'm either wearing my Converse or Vans. I like wearing my Vans just cuz they're heavier, and can hold the freeze arrows longer.

Adio goes for me. Ive found that skate shoes are the best way to go mainly cuz of durability and gripiness

I imagine that a light shoe with a snug fit and a good grip would be ideal. I wear size 13 sneaks that weight a little over a pound each. I dont even know if it effects how I play but my girlfriend's shoes weigh like nothing, they dont even make the scale budge lol. She plays with her shoes on at the arcade but prefers socks on the ignitions, I still keep my shoes on.

I have the pad that came with Xbox's Ultramix 2. It's flimsy, but easy to use (I guess, I've never tried anything else). I found that using shoes is hard because it's got this no-slip type surface, so socks for me work best.

I wear two pairs of shoes, really. I use both for DDR. I just use certain ones on certain days, I guess

These are my good shoes.

THESE are my old trusties.

I've worked those puppies from many months of skating and DDR. They live on...barely...

I would be with you about them skate shoes. Except that my vans are now getting small. i thought i stopped growing but those things constantly rub on my pinky toe on my right foot. its not a pretty sight. The shoes i wear now are, lemee see, these things say Spalding Infusion. They dont slip, are nice and comfy, and i can just put em on in 5 secs. No tying required.

The problem with most skate shoes though, is the fact that they are hard as hell to fully break in unless you skate them to death (which, for me, is not a problem though

I just REALLY don't like it when people are afriad to use their skate shoes, or abuse them. Skate shoes are meant to take tons of abuse, and that's what I put them through

If your looking for a EXCELLENT pair of skate shoes that are really good for skating, and just as good for DDR (the best shoes I have ever used for DDR) are DC Agents. Give 'em a shot. The durablity and comfort of a skate shoe, and the light wait and flexiblity of a running shoe (that's what my "old trusties" are, DC Agents) Fine fine shoes, they are.
