I need a Digital Camera for recording arcade AAA's. Any suggests? Nothing to expensive, but nothing with shoddy image quality, either. Links to pictures taken with some cameras would be appreciated! Thanks for your help!

I can't give you a link to any pictures, but if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, most photo places/CVS/Rite Aid etc. will develop pictures from disposable cameras onto a CD-ROM. I know that Kodak has been advertising this, so I'm not sure about other camera brands, but you should definitely be able to do it with Kodak. I'm not sure how much it is to do this exactly, but I don't think it's that much.

Go get something crappy from Wal-Mart, it'll cost very little, but I dunno about quality.

I've got a Kodak DX4530 Digital Camera (5.0 megapixels) that came from Wal-Mart and cost me $200 and came with a dock so you can recharge it's batteries and download your pictures to your computer at the same time. Apparently it's really popular.

Here are a few pictures I took with it.

I was too tired to hold the camera still so it was kinda hard to get a good picture. The Pop 4 picture came out very good though.

If all you're going to do with the camera is shoot pics of your scores, you don't need exceptional quality. I just use the camera in my cell phone and it works fine.

God forbid someone ever try to play for fun and exercise. The person I played with was my mom, she doesn't play to get good scores.

As long as you can see the score and grade and stuff, then it's good enough quality.

If your just going to be using them on the comp/internet then get lik a 2/3 megapixel, but if you want to print em out go 5+ mega pixels.

This one lady comes into my arcade sometimes with a baby in a stroller. Her boyfriend/husband/brother/someone plays with the kid while she PA's some 8's or 9's. One time she was holding the baby on the front of her in a baby bag while playing lol.

Anyway I tryed recording some of my songs too, unfortanately the quality of the photagrapher can be more important than that of the picture disgust.gif lol

Cheap 15 dollar webcam...It depends if your gonna be playing at your house or what? If you playing at your house get a webcam but pc needs to be near tv and need to have light, a good one is like 15 bucks, I bought a 4 Megapixel camera at wal-mart and it cost me $80. I love it and it takes Allright pictures, but theres some problems with the lighting i must say so you must have a little light, like the ones the arcade machines have those 5 lights *i think 5*.

The small Aipteks should suit well just for score recording. They are $30 - $70

I shrunk this at 33% of the original size.

I think by wuality he means you want to make the pixels smaller than a centimeter and you want to be able to see the pic clearly. But no recommendations here. E2.gif
