Dam Dariram - This has been bothering me since I got into DDR.

Afronova - Can somebody tell me what this is exactly?

K.O.G G3 - No idea.
R3 - Something to do with Mission Control?
SP-Trip Machine - whats with the SP
Waka Laka - Drugs? Fantasy? Love? Does anybody know?

D2R is a somewhat Dance Dance Revolution song. D2R.
Dam Dariam is run away, I belive.
KCP is a mixer, outside of KONAMI.

Genom Screams. Look up the word genom, ITS A TITLE OF A SONG!

Orion.78, no one knows, IIRC, its a gibberish song.

SP-Trip machine. Dont know. It must mean some acronym.
Waka Laka is a song about absolute nothingness. Its a nonsence song, and its just about good times.
Xenon is from Beatmania IIDX 8th Style.
ALL PARANOiAs have lower case 'i's, its just a title.
2mb is U1-ASMI and .3K is, I belive, SOTA.

wow, thanks tomo_kun! Ill have to try and find the song Genom and see what its like because I love genom screams. and maxevans, thanks I figured it was the site but I just wanted to double check. well it seems we're done here, besides xenon. I meant like how Burning Heat! is from Gradius 2 and TwinBee is from... twinbee. is xenon from any old video game?

"Nori" is also the conjunctive form of the verb ä¹ã ("Noru" [you'll need to set your browser to UTF-8 encoding to see the Japanese characters]), which translates to "to ride." It's often used in conjunction with a "Japanized" version of the word "rhythm" to mean "ride the rhythm." (Or, "dance," I imagine.) Bzzt! It's Okinawan. (Which is rather different from normal Japanese, enough so that on Japanese television, they put subtitles in for Okinawan speakers, so you can know what they're saying.)
7 and 8 can be pronounced "Nana" and "Hachi" in Japanese, and it's common for Japanese people to make word plays with numbers (for example .59 -> "tengoku," which translates to "heaven.")
Well, take the first syllables from "Nana" and "Hachi," and you have "Naha." In Naha, Okinawa, there is a festival called the Orion Beer Festival. Sadly, this is the best URL I could find, and it's from the '97 Orion Beer Festival in Naha. Okinawan is tough enough to understand, and drunken Okinawan girls... well, just forget about even trying.

I remember trying to look up genom, but I didn't find anything. I'm guessing L.E.D. went for Genome Screams, but wrote the song title while his spellchecker was on the blink.

Not based on shi*.
Though a few of Mr. T's songs are.
For example "The Goonies R Good Enough"
which is a remake of the games called "The Goonies" and "The Goonies II."

I don't know if Xenon was ever in a non-Bemani game, but it is an element on the Periodic Table. Xenon in a vacuum tube produces a blue glow when excited by an electrical discharge and finds use in strobe lamps. R3 actually has a couple of relatives, R5 and R7 (both on IIDX, maybe elsewhere). IIRC, on IIDX R3 is a 3, R5 is a 5, and R7 is a 7. They don't really sound that much alike to me, so why they're similarly named is beyond me.
And, yeah, I think NNR's going to be out for a bit. A couple weeks ago, they were talking about going down for a bit because their server company wouldn't accept the payment or something.

all i know is that .3k means 300 BPM(one third of 1,000). as in, paranoia respect, which is by .3k and is 300 BPM.

...too bad you got to it before I did. I was just about to click on the quote button, but I thought I may need to see if someone else had already. Anyway, I always thought .3k was Naoki as well, seeing that its a PARANOiA song. Are there others that are under this artist, or is it just PARANOiA Respect? |

For some reason, Naoki has the weird habit of calling himself the bpm for the PARANOiAs. For examle, PARANOiA is by "180", PARANOiA Evolution is by "200", PARANOiA Survivor is by "270" etc etc.
