my parents like the fact i play the game. they say its better than just sitting around at home all day... also, the fact that my mom plays on standard, and my dad n' sis play on light, make it seems even neater.

Me and my mom have been playing for about 8 months now at home, and she passes ALMOST every song now on Ultramix...She really enjoys it, she is currently working on CSFIL (speed), but she lacks the stamina. And she won't go to the arcade and play. Haha. But it is fun to play ddr with her, I get to teach her tips and stuff (Because I am much above her level). So...yay.

They love it, as i'm doing a videogame that actually helps me physically... they're saying 'oh she'll lose some weight doing this!'

And my mom was going on about how i should use weights when i play, and i just shook my head... peoples.gif she was serious! And she said she wants to learn how!! hehehe...

But i have thick carpet in my room so i have to play downstairs and use up the good tv. oh well, i can still play the sims or the simpsons hit and run in my room...

Which, its 12:38 here, i think i'll go do that now....

Weights are actually an okay idea. They help build overall stamina, plus you feel really fast when you take them off.

hmm maybe but it means nothing if you can't read the arrows in the first place. I know someone who uses weights but it doesn't really help since even with solo on and the arrows being sped up they still don't get the timing.

My dad doesn't see the point in playing DDR. My mom thought it looked fun and plays once in awhile. (Although she can't pass the easiest beginner.) She is supportive of it, sorta. Because sometimes she tells me to study instead of playing. Yeah, parents are always like that. I wish I could get my dad to see the fun it though, it'll help him lose some weight too. laugh.gif But they don't allow me to go to the arcade to play very often. And they only give me and my brother one dollar each. So that's a round of versus mode, and a round of single BeatMania Complete Mix 2. I wish I have money to play. Too bad I'm too young to be getting a job. frown.gif
