A brief description of DDR? Let's see...
"THIS IS A GAME WHERE YOU USE YOUR FEET!"
Geez, other than that, it seems really hard to actually describe DDR breifly... _________________

I'll try to remember to dig something up for you when I have access to my computer. For my tech writing class last year, part of a paper I made describes DDR rather well for just a couple paragraphs. _________________

Look, I'll give you an essay first draft format of your first paragraph.
T1. DDR desc.
T2/S1. What is BEMANI?
T3/S2. How to play.
T4/S3. Music, and background.
Just an idea draft. _________________

Here's something you could probably use. You have any sort of permissions from me to reproduce this word for word, if you choose.
Dance Dance Revolution is a music-based arcade game, wherein the player must step on specific locations on a dance pad, registering the step electronically. As music is played by the machine, arrows scroll up the screen in time with the music. As the arrows reach a certain point on the screen, the player must hit the corresponding arrow. The combination of arrows to music forms a sort on an in-place dance that the player must follow.
I'd reccomend throwing in a couple pictures of the pad and screen while your at it. _________________

Ever hear about those dancing video games you hear about kids playing? It's an extremely unique idea for a video game where you dance on a platform. Both the platform and the video game have arrows and the game directs you to hit the arrows in time with the music playing. The most popular type of dancing game is entitled Dance Dance Revolution.
We're going to host a DDR contest for the Christmas party. We know pretty much none of us have ever played it, but it should be fun how nobody will know what to make of it. I sure hope you can make it. You've probably never seen anything like this.
