Ok, well not winter, but November is still cold enough!

Does anybody have problems playing stepmania this time of the year?
My hands are usually pretty cold, not a good thing for this type of game. I find myself missing stupid arrows in songs because my hands arent "warmed up" and they literally just stop moving. My hands also hurt a lot more during hard songs.

I guess this doesn't apply to states like florida as much as the people up north where its down to 20 degrees at night.

I have bad circulation so my hands are pretty cold more often than not. And it is hard to play properly when your hands are freezing :{

I tend to just warm 'em up before I attempt anything too hard. Or I don't bother and fail miserably biggrin.gif

Yeah, same for me!

Adding 30 degree temperatures to that mix isn't fun disgust.gif

yes...i hate it. it's always 5 degress colder in my room than in the rest of my house, so my fingers are like ice if i haven't been playing for about 30 minutes. they just refuse to move and i get the stupidest misses...it sucks.

just to answer, if someone who stands next to you watching you play PSMO but you get a D on it, versus somebody who understands perfect attacking and stuff, will think you suck. A player is considered good in my opinion when a player of a higher level comments about you or see's you triple A a song. Or if somebody looks up to you. Hope it clarifies.

Yeah, but I don't know if it's 'cause of the fact that it's winter.

Lately, the ends of my fingers have felt cold, but not freezing-cold, and I have actually been better in the last few days for some reason. [sarcasm](Look at me brag about playing SM with my fingers...pffh)[/sarcasm]

I just turn up the heat in my room to 75 or 80 degrees. I turned it up to 85 when it was 34 degrees up here in uber cold Saratoga/Malta/Round Lake New York. disturb.gif
