Ever knew you were going to have to completely whore a song out in order to move on? I think I'm reaching the end of my rope in terms of songs that I think I can pass by just trying them occasionally and beating them eventually. Some songs I feel like I'm never going to be able to pass unless I just completely whore them out. Forget 10 footers for now, here is my list of TO BE WHORED (btw, I basically only have access to DDRMAX2 arcade):

Stay
Afronova
Waka Laka

As for ones that I think I'll be able to pass without really whoring them out:

So deep (for some weird reason. It seems hard, but I don't think I'll have to whore it out)
Drop Out
Exotic Ethnic

Everything else that isn't a 10 I've either passed, forgotten about, or never tried.

How about you? Ever had a feeling of not ever being able to pass a song without whoring it?

Yeah, but I'll only do it at home or on SM, unless the arcade is absolutely empty. I hate putting people through the pain of me whorring a song. It doesn't happen often, but one of these days I'm just going to have to do Max 300 as every last song.

I've noticed this same problem. My particular one is Waka Laka. Despite the fact I've FC'ed it with only 28 greats, I STILL can't get past it in Happy Hardcore Oni. The infamous section always gets me.

god, I guess I was lucky this past August, I was trying to pass Cartoon Heros (Speedy Mix), the lucky thing was that it was a Saturday Night in the beginning of August... the bowling allet that I was playing at had none of the regulars playing there....so I realized that I haven't passed Cartoon Heros...so everytime I was on my 3rd song...I was playing it and failing it...I eventually whored that song out within an hour and a half and suprisingly passed it with a B...

Whoring = In the case of DDR, playing a song on the same settings you want to beat it at over and over till you've accomplished it according to your standards or a universal standard.

im in love with drop out. i whore the hell out of it. its my last song almost every time unless i try a different hard song. whats sad, is that i cant get past a C even though it barely hurts my stamina and i FC it right until the 16th note runs and even then i barely mess up. still fun though.

LotM is impossible to me. Even with whoring it. I can only play (fail) that song like 4 times without not being able to feel my legs. I get a little past the freeze and my legs collapse. I just havta get up and try again. God I hate that song...

Whoring a song because its fun is different. I'm also in love with Drop Out. I AA most of the time. I also like Sakura. Only thing keepin me from AA it is the first part of the slow down. Ya know the freeze arrow with the cross step. Ya... theres my good...

i whore so deep all the time at home but at the arcade i usualy go to there are only a few songs so i try not to whore any of them if there are people there, but if no ones there i usualy whore boom boom dollar, hero, and captain jack.

I've been doing that lately. But not to pass the song, to AA them. I whored Love Shine and eventually AA'd it. Even though it's an easy song, I kept getting too many greats.
Anyway, the only reason I whored it was because not many people were there. Sometimes it's good to whore... In a way...

People come in and out of the arcade I play at constantly, so it doesn't bug anyone but me if I play the same song over and over. I played Stay as my 3rd stage like a million times today. I'm getting closer to passing it.

lately ive kinda been whoring orion .78, and senorita(speedy mix) i cant seem to pass them(heavy), i always get sooooooo close...

oh well... some songs that i always whore would be...
1. cartoon heroes
2. drop out
