!!!!!!!PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

*calm, soothing thoughts*

All I was saying was that that is the excuse my parents use to try to get me to stop, even when I KNOW that its not real dancing. I never said it was real dancing or support the thought that it is real dancing because it is an arcade game that INCORPORATES dancing!

JEEZ, I'm not retarded you know. And by the way, I'm actually a quite good dancer, DDR or otherwise.

My mom supports it because it's good excercise. She also said that if she was younger and didn't have a bad back, that she would try it out.

My mom loves it when I play, because it's something other than the computer.

On the flip side, she likes me doing this so much, she tells all our relatives about it and now my grandfather is coming over to my house on Wednesday to watch because she can't shut up about it.

Took the supportiveness a little too far mom... disgust.gif

naw...my parents never gave me any crap about me playing DDR...I guess they really never knew that I was playing more and more since on the weekends I would play lots, but they wouldn't know cuz they were out paryying themselves....kinda gross huh, considering that my mom was in her early 50's and my dad was in his late 40's when I started playing...

My parents give me the money. Both of mine support it. They enjoy watching me do it. My best friend's parents is going to buy the game for him because we are so "good" (In thier eyes, i guess)

ok. someone said they spend $50 a week. if it was at my arcade, itd be .50 for 3 songs. 50x4=200 tokens/2 tokens to play=100 playx5minutes a play= 500 minutes/60=8hr 20min a week

youve played for 25 hours a week

My parents didn't let me put it in my room (just bought a Ignition too), so I had to return it. So I pretty much fucked DDR and Bemani altogether.

Same here... They like it how its different from violent games like Grand Theft Auto and stuff but they would never buy me a metal pad. I'd have to buy it.

I would say if you would be getting either of those things, its kind of hard to reccomend a version I don't know what US version is the best I'd say Max2 or Extreme, never played ultramix I heard it's good, unless you plan on importing a Japanese version like Extreme. As for pads I use an Red Octane ignition 2.0 it works very well for me but make sure that there is nothing wrong with it, because after playing with it for about a week the down arrow was doing weird things but I got it replaced for no cost. If you want the best pad and if you have the money Colbalt Flux makes metal pads which retail at I belive $200+.
