Things that annoy you while your playing..

Well, I often hear people behind me say.. that song is so easy.. that's the thing that annoys me the most..

Eg. I was playing Sync heavy (for warmup), then I hear two guys say.. that's so easy (I turned back to look at them while I was playing, since sync is so easy).. I felt like calling them out to do the song..

When a person knows your not a 10 foot player, and calling Sakura Oni easy.. (which it is for good players, but I'm not at that stage yet.. and they know it..)

Lastly, when people shadow me, and I can see them.. (and of course not knowing them), that distracts me so much..

I hate when people who just got Bs and Cs on a couple of 7 foot songs try to do MAX 300, and they spend like 90 seconds "psyching up" before they attempt the song.

It also annoys me when people spell you're wrong.

I hate when people just plain old try stuff that they know they can't pass. Such as they D an eight footer and the next song is LOM Heavy.

I hate when people act idiotic and try to impress people.

I hate when people who stink at it try comparing you to someone better than you.

There are a lot of nubs like that in kamloops. But most people suck and are impressed by like.. most standard songs.

The only time I ever got a little annoyed was when I started hearing from my boyfriends friends that he was bragging about being better than me. Beat me in score on a song once or something. Or the other night when his friends acame to the arcade and I was about to play and they said "yeah, play now, because jeff might wanna play later and he makes everyone look bad." So I called him up and did xenon, dead end, and witch doctor, and tired him out and he had to quit halfway through witch doctor. Wow. I'm a doggy.

I hate it when annoying little kids get on the pad next to me and try to shadow. Although it is quite an honor when a more experienced player asks you to, at least he/she ASKS! These brats just jump right on and start with the annoying and the stomping and the annoying and the kicking (yes a little kid has kicked me while trying to shadow, and he made me fail my song (Kakumei). Oh the bloody thoughts that followed).

When 12 and 13 year-olds (no offense, TBH I'm 13) put their hand on your bar before or in the middle of a song, and you have to ask them to remove it. Or when people go to the beat of your song on your bar with a quarter... It's so annoying!

Knicking my foot on the bar!!! Nothing gets me more flustered than this. I do'n't have one at home, so it tends to get in the way when you're used to practising without it there... oh, and people dancing with me but on the floor behind me. That's just plain aggravating. If they'd just wait a sec, they'll be on shortly. Quit dancing behind me...

Yeah...my sister thinks that DDR is the most retarded game in the world. At home, she walks down the stairs to see me playing and she always says, "Why are you still playing that? It's stupid!" Ahh! That makes me angry.
I have the same problem with my feet running into the bar in the arcade, but I've been getting used to it. Everybody who says that DDR is gay while I'm playing gets a good kick in the stomach as they shadow me.

Idiots who cant understand a coinline, ESPECIALLY when there are Numbered SLOTS for it!! Atleast 5 times a week the owner has to fix something with the coinline.


People calling me a noob because I dont give a damn about my score. I've been playing since late 2000, never had an arcade AA since I played standard on 3rd mix. I dont care about score, I dont see why I should .

Well, I definitely don't like people shadowing me, ESPECIALLY people who aren't at my level, as they do the steps wrong, and mess me up. I don't like people standing on the corner of the machine waiting.. I see their big head the whole time i'm playing and it's distracting. Also with the shadowing, i think it's just plain stupid to shadow someone off the machine, you know these people who wait around and shadow modes of every difficulty.. it looks so stupid. I could think of so much more on this topic.. but I won't bother.

this'll make me sound like an egomaniac, but eh, it happens.
sometimes when i'm playing at home, i'll think to myself, 'hey, i'm doin pretty hot here. i bet i look damn impressive'
that alone annoys me, especially because i stop doing well after i start thinking things like that. the irony is too much.
also, it bothers me when people cling to the bar like their life depends on it when the play on STANDARD. i understand when you need to use the bar on some nines or tens, but other than that, you dont actually need it (IMO)
