i read somewhere that the DWIs for official songs are on sync. how accurate are they?

very accurate!

Except for D2R because in the arcade its late, and the DWI is perfect. Might be the same for hyper euro beat and *insert song thats offbeat in DDR here*

Actually D2R is offsync on Extreme, but Right on Time (omg get it) on Max2.

yea its on sync for the ps2 7th mix so must be they took the beats from that one i take it?

I think all home version songs were adjusted so they aren't horribly off. EG, stay organic tomato version in home version japanese extreme, hyper earlybeat and d2r (max2)

i'm pretty sure the us ps2 versions all came out after ddrex arcade, so i'm pretty sure in the time between they fixed the sync

"Hyper Earlybeat"?

Play "Perfect Free" on Konamix, and your score will be almost perfect-free because the steps are about a 32nd note early.

I wouldn't be too sure. I remember seeing a list of songs off sync in the Cobalt Flux forums.
