Yeah, my parents actually don't mind funding for DDR, seeing as its a good way to get me out of the house to exercise. Infact, my mom thinks that I should move to a bigger city for more competition =\ somtimes I think they're more into it than I am... heh, yeah. my parents are really supportive. its all good. |

my parents are ecstatic about me losing some weight and finally doing something other than sitting in front of the computer _________________

My parents don't mind because it's at least doing something active (not that I don't do enough already) and my mom just thinks it's the coolest thing to watch....so I can't really say my parents have ever given me trouble for it _________________

I'll answer from the opposite perspective... I'm a parent, and I'm totally supportive (obviously). |

My mom thinks that I waste too much money on it, and she won't fund it. So lately I've been using my money that my grandfather has given me over the past fifteen years. My dad's just glad that it gets me out of the house. When I'm in NH I'm almost never home. When I'm in Colorado if I'm not doing home work, I'm at a friends house playing on a CF. They say that I look retarded playing, but so doesn't everyone that does play. At least I don't try to freestyle. |

Well, my mom didn't want me to play anymore when I was around 5 months pregnant (my doc said I could still do aerobic exercize as long as I watched my heart rate - I'd check it after each game & wait till it slowed down before i'd play again). Of course, if any of you girls ever get pregnant out there - ask your doctor's advice about exercize. Other than that, my mom's cool - she's 53 & plays DDR herself - even has her own metal pad... |

I suppose my parents are supportive. They take me to the arcade alot and give me money. They don't say much about it though. Except my dad always says it's like stepping on cockroaches... |

My parents believe DDR is distracting me from school and other priorities. They keep telling me DDR will never get me into college, which is true, but iritating. They could honestly care less if I played or not. They don't care if its healthy and exersize...wow, i totally just murdered that word.... _________________

My mother is the same way. she'll always ask me why I'm not studying instead, but then again, she always says that, and I'm an honors student.

My brother's girlfriend says the same. |
