I think it would be sweet if they made a DDR game for the new nintendo Ds. 1st of all, It has the bottum screen as a touch screen so that could easly be a finger pad??? and then the top screen could be where the arrows come up? eh? and also there would be good sound becasue of the new good audio in the DS as well as there being good graphics because its a next gen hand held~It would be sweet!

I think it would turn out a bit better on the PSP. The fingur pad is a good Idea, but it would be hard to know where you are on it.

Hmm... that'd be cool, but DDR just is'n't DDR without the use of your feet, so unless you could get a porta-pad to jack into the DS/PSP, and just hold the thing while you dance around, that'd be mad cool.

That picture was made as a joke. In my opinion, DDR on a handheld is an awful idea. You lose many of the benefits that come with the phyiscal activity that the game involves. When you move it to a tiny screen and crappy sound, it become just another game.

damn it, reznor beat me to the post of the pic. i dont know how the hell you WOULD(i know its fake, im speaking hypothetically) dance hard songs on a such a small screen. now, if you could play on one of those helmet things that showed the graphics straight in front of you.....OH YEAH!

BeatMania or Pop'n would suit better. What's the point of using your fingers for a game that uses your feet?

This belongs in the console board.

And, FWIW, just about every Bemani has been brought to the Gameboy.

There's several versions of Beatmania, Pop'n Music, and DDR for the GBC. The music is all beeps and bloops and is extremely laughable (although the Paranoias are quite awesome).
