since ive never played that song i cant realy help you, but to be honest i dont think there are songs that go over a ten foot rating, so i doubt that 34 crap is right.

Max. (period) is a song that is ONLY on the Japanese version of DDR Extreme for the PS2. It's steps are definitely harder than The Legend of Max's and some say it's even harder than PSM/PSMO.

The Japanese version of Extreme (for PS2), as I recall, doesn't even have foot ratings.

It does?

Beginner: 3
Light:9
Standard:9
Heavy: Flashing 10
ONI: Flashing 10.

The (period) is in the title.

The Japanese DDR Extreme has foot ratings. The reason Max. (period) is so hard is that the last 15 seconds or something run at 600 beats per minute. E11.gif Tomo_kun is right about the difficulties in feet. Umm...34 feet...no.

You're probably thinking of Japanese MAX where it only has the groove gauge and no foot ratings.

Max.(period) is Konami's way of making fun of you for constantly obsessing over harder and harder songs.

I have Max. and it is way cool just waay too fast, for me at least at this point...i can AA it slowing it down to 2 in training mode....heh.... blink.gif
but once ur fast enough and u know the 6oo bpm part itll be a sinch...there no really tricky parts in the song just long streams of fast arrows.

Max. Isn't harder than LOM at all once you can do the last 15 seconds. Seriously, it's like Sakura. The first time you play it the first slowdown !@#$s you up hardcore. After knowing what's coming from playing it 50 times it becomes a cakewalk.

im really tired of ppl talking about how MAX is impossible and poopy....its far from it. like regenesis said, it was kinda put out there just to make all the idiots out there stop asking for a faster MAX. well they got it, and now they complain about it being too hard. its generally considered on par with LoM and PSM, but still below PSMO.

BTW thanks alot for the link. too bad its probably fake/hacked (im not accusing him, just a possibility). its so easy to falsify triple AAA's on both arcade and home version. just cross the wires and put in an oscillating circuit...makes all the arrows fire a tousand times per second. instant AAA no skill involved. im just saying im skepticle.

You are correct. BUT!!! You don't have to hit any steps in LoM while it is scrolling that fast, as opposed to Max.(Period) you have to hit near 100 steps. No why don't you tell me 'What's the big deal?' holmes. Much love. Peace.

That's right. At the arcade, unless you were focusing directly on the freeze arrow, you wouldn't notice it, but for the home version (of Extreme) it's really easy- the dancing character goes into spasms. laugh.gif

Actually this song is easy to me because it flows unlike LOM and MaxX when i first unlocked it i passed it on my first try (using a red octane pad).

I think this song is really fun and i always get distracted looking at BG movies of konami's music studio XD
