i was trying max 300 on my home pad and I was at the last three steps and then my mom came down and tipped over the cloths onto the pad and I missed the last 2 stepps and that sucked because I cussed and got grounded from it for 5 days

The angriest i ever got at a ddr game was when the u.s. version of ddr extreme came out for the american playstation 2. I have to admit i was excited at first about the game because it had some fun songs, but that was before i got the game. Extreme u.s. gets old very quick and some of the songs are cool, but you can't dance to them and feel the beat, more of a listening beat than dancing. But kceh is realeasing a new ddr game, "ddr ultramix 2", which so far looks way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way, better than extreme, and the ultramix2 songs are so awesome, that ddr ultramix 2 blows all the other u.s. ddr versions away and some of the arcade versions as well. Too bad for extreme, maybe next time kcea will get it right!!!!!!!!!

What happaned?

The angriest I have gotten was last December when my best friend and I were at the mall with his mom. We hardly had any money between the two of us but we were able to scrounge up .75, enough for one round with 4 songs on the Extreme machine.

We decided to split our songs so we would get 2 songs each. I reccomended that I go first since he was still a beginner and we would risk losing all of our songs on the first turn if he failed. Oh, the irony....

I picked Tsugaru(Heavy) as the first song and I started playing. Beating Tsugaru is usually a sure deal for me. But the difference was, this time I was wearing some really baggy raver type pants that had chords sticking out of them on the bottom. I got past the gallops and I was on the part where you have to really turn your body. Before I know it, I'm falling backwards and using my hands to cushion the fall because I tripped over my baggy pants. I was watching the screen the whole time as I was trying to get back up as fast as I could but I was too late and I failed the song.

I was so pissed off that I failed, causing my best friend to lose his two songs as well as my last song that I cussed and then slammed my fist as hard as I could on top of the left speaker and then we left the arcade. I was furious. I apologized to my best friend for screwing his turns over but he said that it wasn't a big deal and that he wasn't mad. It still upset me, though.

I was trying to AAA LTBHE at home, on a friend's Cobalt Flux that I borrowed. I had it AAA'd until about 4 seconds left in the song, when my parents paged the phone that's right by the TV. The phone distracted me, and I lost my focus, and got 2 greats.

When I was talking on the phone, I was still kinda angry, so I kicked a mini-soccer ball at my couch. I didn't notice that my friend's CF cord had wrapped around my leg, and, when I kicked the ball, I kicked the pad out. When I put it back in, the buttons didn't respond, so, I kinda freaked out (I ended up unscrewing the control box and fixing the problem, though), to which I kicked the ball again and knocked a picture frame over on a bookcase by the TV.

I'm usually much calmer about didder happenings, now.

Pop 4 doubles normal, some little bastard 8 year old walks onto the left side. I missed 3 arrows because of that kid. Would have got 1st place also

Worst I've gotten angry was just enough to blurt out a random profanity after failing a song. Mostly though on CSFIL or Rhythm & Police.. simply because I don't do crossovers the "normal" way.. so I improvise footsteps and having reached over 3/4 of the song..only to run out of steam or lose my rhythm.. it kinda irks y4kn0w?

I was playing Holic doubles heavy and I had a full combo and ten greats (yeah I count my greats) and it was almost at the end, and some kid jumps up on the machine, like right in between the two bars, and just stood there. I play doubles with my hands like behind my back, and I kinda hit the kid not on purpose, but I hit him, and then he stuck his foot out and tripped me for hitting him. And I faild. I turn around to see a ten-year-old that I have been friends with since I was seven, and he was like one, so I wanted to choke him, but I couldn't, and he wouldn't even give me my money back. IT WAS THE FIRST STAGE!

Angriest I'v ever been is a funny story really...

After my RedOctane broke, I've had to make due with a Mad Catz pad with the salvaged hard foam and makeshift arrow inserts under it. Which worked for a while, but never very well on Stepmania.

So my friend was over my house one night and we were playing Stepmania. I was well aware of the fact that this pad would always fail me on 9+ footers, so I had to stick to easy songs. We picked Burnin the Floor, and 20 seconds into the song the right arrow completely failed, and I was getting random phantom steps. And now I was pissed. So I start jump/stomping on the pad as hard as I could and scream vulgarities.

I immediately disconnect the pad, put it against the fence outside, and run into my house. I grab my paintball gun and at least 100 paintballs. Within half an hour, the pad was a ripped up mess dripping with pink paint.

So every time I fail a song, I am CONSTANTLY reminded of my "DDR anger rampage", and Kelly still makes jokes about how I looked like those little guys jumping up and down in the background of R3. I have a wonderful temper.

I hadn't been to my local arcade in a while, so I went in to play a few games. They suck enough because they have Autofail off and the top part of the screen is cut off so you can't see your life bar. I play Love Shine for my first song (my typical warm up, easy AA) I notice the down arrow is crappy, and I get a couple misses until I start stepping on it really hard. The song ends and I see that I have "Failed" with 3 misses and a boo...so not only is autofail off, but they turned the difficulty *all* the way up, and their pads suck, so you're basically screwed no matter what. I just walked out of the place after that song....
