Ace, one correction on your SUPERIOR post... "Love again Tonight" is NOT about sex, but about love. Here are the lyrics
Can't believe, you are here.
It seems just like a dream.
But when you look, in my eyes.
Your love becomes so clear to me.
It's been so long, but now,
Now your right here, lying by my side.
And know how you really feel,
Baby, please, never let me go.
Baby, let's love, love, love again and again tonight
Everything's all right.
Then, the two of us can remember sweet, sweet love
Love, love, love, love
(the way he makes me feel this way)
Love, love, love, love
(Yes, it's you, I love you so)
Baby, let's love, love, love again and again tonight
All the night, make it fine
Stay, the whole night, right through, by my side
Baby, let's love, love, love again and again tonight
Make me feel so right
you, only you knows how, to love me so right
Love again tonight (end lyrics)
judging by the lyrics, this song is NOT about sex, but about someones boyfreind who has returned to a loved one after a time. Some lyrics may SEEM to be about sex, like "Stay, the whole night", but look at the whole line ("right through, by my side")
So, clearly, "Love Again Tonight" is NOT about sex.

I'd like to clarify one more thing on that post.
Insertion very *definately* contains a section with a bunch of moaning during the breakdown. The song is about sex straight up (even though it doesn't have lyrics... it is).
That being said... excellent post.
I personally don't care about cussing at all. People that can't go a whole sentence without swearing can get pretty bothersome, but whatever I guess.
I think by the time you're in high school, how you respond to the constant barrage of swearing around you is going to be a better indicator of how much you'll cuss than seeing it anywhere. End of middle school is when you start hearing cussing everywhere. By high school, if you're going to do it, it's because of peer pressure. I'm sorry, but the language you hear around you is much, much more influential than the language you read.
I'm sure there are people that would get their rocks off playing Little Bitch a lot. But it would wear off pretty fast, and honestly, by high school, most people are beyond that sort of thing.
Not to mention... LB's Oni steps are freaking great. One of my favorites songs step-wise... it's cool. |

So this is what the world has come to? *Sigh* I guess I will rant since I have nothing better to do.
Censors. Do we really need them? Is it completely neccessary to block out simple words and anything that could be seen as sexual or offensive? Personaly, I see nothing wrong with sex. It is natural, and perfectly normal. I do not see how it is offensive to anybody (well, maybe children under 9 or 10) or 'sick' at all. How did it get so bad in the first place? It is nothing to be offended by, everybody does it, and children should really learn about it earlier than they should. When a stranger asks your child to do "certain things," will they know not to? Probably not. But, moving right along. Does the word "a-s-s" mean anything different than a donkey, buttocks, or jerk? No. It doesn't. Same for other words. And how would homosexuality offend somebody? (regarding Secret Rendevous and Boy on Boy) If it offends you at all, that is discrimination, are the homosexuals to blame for their like of the same sex, or are you in the wrong for not accepting it and wanting to shield your children from it? If you wish to shield your children completely from anything slightly sexual (OMG they are talking about sex!), any curse words (OMG He just mentioned something about a person making them mad! [pissed off]), or anything related to homosexuality (OMG the song might be about lesbians but I dont really know, I am just guessing! I dont like gays and I want to raise my kid to be a discriminating jerk), then please, do so. But please, do not ruin other people's entertainment by removing the machine. Simply sit down and talk to your children and say "I don't want you playing that Dance Dance Revolution game anymore" and explain to them why.
EDIT : a-s-s was changed to buttocks at one point and made it look REALLY dumb o_O
EDIT : *cough* changed the edit because it said "buttocks was changed to buttocks" _________________

The whole censorship of "Bad Words" issue really comes down to the difference between connotation and denotation. A word can have the same definition/denotation, such as a$$ = donkey or b!tch = female dog. If b!tch and a$$ have the same definition, then why are they considered "Bad Words"? EMOTIONS. When you add emotional attachment to a word you get the connotation of the word. If emotions were not involved I could call someone an a$$ or I could call someone a donkey and it would have the exact same effect, but since we are emotional creatures we add stronger meanings to certain words. This is why a$$ has a stronger effect over Donkey. To sum up this post, to get rid of censorship we must break these emotional attachments to these "Bad Words". Have a Nice Day |

Max 300 Freak: Correction of Love Again Tonight (For Melissa Mix) justified. I have made the proper correction to my post (namely, just deleting it from the negatives list, as I didn't see a good reason to justify its now apparent harmlessness).
dlm: Insertion correction justified. I've made the proper correction to my post (by moving it from the Harmless category to the No Swear Words But Has Innuendo category).
Overall, one song was taken away from the negatives list and replaced by another one.
If anyone finds any other errant information in my post, let me know. _________________

The amount of swear filter confusion in this thread is fucking hilarious. _________________

Sorry to cast Cure 3 on such an old thread, but it was mentioned over in another topic, so I had to post a few comments.

Trust me: This song is about sex. The whole "Let's Love Love Love," again part is talking about sex. (Thus the "lying her by my side.") It's not explicit, but procreating like mink is certainly implied (not that I'm against copious amounts of fornification).
Oh, and Ace, I'm guessing your post referred specifically to 8th mix. You'd have to add quite a few songs, just looking through the 4th Mix Plus song list. (E-Rotic songs, anyone?) _________________

Cure 3? More like Life. lol
I'll re-add Love Again Tonight. You're right that I'm referring exclusively to DDR Ex. Are there any other mentions? _________________

I like the song One Two (Little Bicth) by Bus Stop better. During the part when they are about to say "shag" they say "OI!" instead.
They say fsck quite clearly in that one song by like Scorpio XY or whatever, Highs Off You or something like that.
In one of the mixes of Get Up and Move, near they begining, they are like "Aww siht!" _________________

I thought the f-word was censored. It's filtered out and replaced with "frick."
frick frick frick. <= I didn't originally type "frick frick frick" here. |

Fuck.
Wow, how 'bout that?
Yeah, the f-bomb is in Highs Off U. If you're not paying attention, it can slip past you, but if you intentionally listen for it, you can't miss it. I'm surprised the song was put on US Extreme without any editing. _________________

Too bad the machine doesn't come with like a bleeping feature. The song didnt make it into the japanese PS2 extreme. Probably not for that reason though. Too bad, its a good song, one of my favorite heavy=doubles songs. _________________

Yes this is from the last page, whatever. annon wrote: | and let's list a few other words in song titles:
-Ectacy (left uncensored on US home versions) | I'm assuming you are refering to Ecstasy by D-Complex. I don't understand why but this Ectacy misspelling is a bit too common for the name of the song (Ecstasy) in the background. I don't hear anything suggestive in the song in terms of sex or drugs.
Webster's dictionary wrote: | Ecstasy - Extreme and usu. rapturous emotional excitement. | The only suggestive thing I hear is a misheard lyric anyway that no one usually picks up on unless I point it out. _________________
