right now i am trying to beat Genome Screams single. Just can't, and its SUCH A GOOD SONG!

Finally, FINALLY I passed it on a late evening with an A after some 40 tries on my feet.

I always focus on a certain select few number of songs until I can beat them consistently. That is how I play.

Back then, I did this alot to My Sweet Darlin' and Romansu No Kamisama(God of Romance).

It took me like 2 weeks to finally pass My Sweet Darlin' with a C. Now I can A it and AA'd it once.

As for God of Romance, that took me about 2 months. The part in the beginning and end that follow the music always f*cks me up. I havent played 5th mix recently, but last time I tried it, I got an A.

I was determined to pass So Deep. So I played it, and played it, and played it...over and over untill I finally passed the d.amn thing, and even then, I barely passed it.

I was suddenly able to pass Paranoia Survivor recently. Haven't passed it since (and I dunno why, seeing as I can pass Max 300 on a regular basis now).

I also suddenly started playing flatfooted. Didn't do it on purpose; it just happened. It really helps me.

Anyone else with similar revelations?

Woah this topic is odly specific, as I was playing a few minutes ago I went from losing a few bars in on Exotic Ethnic (heavy) to being able to do most of the cross overs CORRECTLY and being able to pass and I figured out the galloping on Matsuri Japan (heavy).

Yep ^-^ I got po'd at Max 300 heavy. For some reason i couldnt concentrate on all those halfbeats taht day. Did it about 10 times cause thats all a could do at the time.

I dont try to play a song over and over because I believe that I would be memorizing the steps instead of reading the steps.

If I want a better score I will keep trying but won't go crazy and stuff.

Twinbee standard.

I don't know what's so hard about it. I just can't do it. I get closer to passing PARANOiA standard than I do on Twinbee. Twinbee I fail about 2/3 of the way through, PARANOiA I fail about 10 seconds from the end.
