Well actually...

There is not Para Para machine anywhere near Ventura County...the closest one would be in the Japan Arcade in Little Tokyo LA. Although i still don't miss out on the game since I own the home version w/ 2 controllers AND i own 5 of the Para Para Paradise video series...

But contact me if you would ever like to meet up sometime to Para together...i'm always lookin 4 new Para buddies...
BTW...how far IS Carpinteria from Oxnard?...

If any of you attened AX this past week, a group from the ParaParaStage forums did a 35 minute para para performance(including myself) and I must admit it was EXCELLENT.....we're already gonna plan to do it again next year^_^....

I was considering getting the home version... but I don't have a japanese / modded ps2.
I'm still new to para, only routines I know so far are Luv 2 Me and Boom Boom Fire. Kind of difficult to learn routines with the low quality vids I download from neoparapara.com

And Carp is like a half hour from Oxnard I think.

wow...only 30 min.!! that's not very far...

If you really wanna learn the routines from the game, i suggest you get the Para Para Staduim Video. It has dancers performing the routines to most of the songs in the game.

It's easy to mod ur PS2....well kinda...
I have the Magic Slide CDs..I just swap the CDs to play PPP on my PS2....

Where is the best place to buy videos/DVDs/etc. to learn? I've looked at some videos on the net, but they don't seem like the quality a video would be. So, that's my question

You can get some ParaPara Paradise VCDs on jpophelp.com and yesasia, also look on ebay, I found ParaPara Paradise 7 for $10. You can also find ParaPara Panic! VCDs I just Got 1 through 3 and they are much fun.

Has anyone seen the PPA Special Performances? Those are insanely fun to memorize and try. I've almost memorized PPP7's Special Performance.

I learnt the ParaPara Paradise 2 special Performance and the ParaPara Paradise 6 SP (the 2002 osaka automesse special performance) and i learnt the Otakon 2004 special performance, though not by the PPA its still fun one and i like it even more since my friends are the ones who danced it

wow i have't thought about para para in a long long time..... now that i think about it i forgot all the routines i knew(which was mainly all)

A new parapara video is coming out in January.
Gazen! ParaPara Paradise! a CD withtunes and a DVD with routines. New girls, new routines, same parapara goodness from Avex.

Peope won't admit it but currently there is ANOTHER parapara boom in Japan.

Now if this has an actual affect on reviving the PPP Arcade Game is highly doubtful but you just never know.
