Maybe you should see a doctor. nono.gif It could be a sign of early arthritits (possibly caused be accelerated growth or too much stress on your knees). I might have a little bit of a soreness, but just an annoying kind, not enough to make me limp.

You could try stop before you get to the point where you're actually limping.

"Hey doc, it hurts when I do this..."
"Then don't do that"

I tore up my knee training for marathons a while back and now i can't run any sort of distance at all w/o pain. However, i can play ddr with no knee troubles at all as long as i play on my toes. I find that if i play flat footed, all the pounding will bother me after a bit.

Just a thought if you are playing flat footed.

Well, assuming you're not stomping or knee-dropping, you could also have a water defficiency while playing. If you're not drinking at least a quart of water per hour of play, and don't drink around a gallon of water a day normally, your knees might not have the cushiness they're supposed to have.

Ah knee-drop related injuries... I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs, but I finished (and won) the tournament...

The impact from hitting can be tough on your knees. A good pair of cross training shoes would help with that.

You can also take this vitamin stuff that helps your joints. It's sold at nutrition stores like GNC. If you ask them they'll tell you. After a while of taking it you will start to rebuild cartilage and if that's part of the problem it'll get better. It lubricates your joints real good though when you're taking it so it should help anyway.
