Quick Question about IIDX.....
I am about to buy a beatmania controller off of someone, but it is not a IIDX controller, it is a 5 key controller made by konami. Can u use this with say 7th stye or 8th style? or do u need to have a 7 key controller to play IIDX....thanxx for answering ;] |

You can play 5 key on 7th style, but thats no fun =/. You can however use the 7 key controller and play 5 key also. Youre better off just getting that. _________________

Ok, I'm just going to buy the IIDX 8th style game, and get the komani controller later. I'll just ask my mom for the controller for christmas or something. So, how fun is the game on a regular controller?
Thanks |

What's this I hear about having to mod the konamic iidx controller once you get it. I payed 90 bucks, and I don't want to have to mod a thing. Do the key's stick as bad as everyone says? If anyone reads this soon, just chat with me on AIM about this issue.
I hope its not true |

It's not necessary right away, but after a while it'll probably become necessary.
It's much better modded anyway, and I'd reccomend it even if you don't have sticky keys and stuff. |

I got a quick IIDX question. For Masters mode in 7th Style for PS2, in your opinion, is it better to start with the easiest songs first or knock some of the more difficult ones out of the way first and then do the easy ones? _________________

Knock off some easy ones so your guage can get a few extra %, go beat a few hard ones, then go back to some easy ones to fill it up when you need to. |

Nearly all the IIDX notecharts are here. Although it would be nice if they had all the light 7/14 charts from the early versions. |

Hi! Umm, I'm kinda getting interested in Beatmania and I was thinking of buying it. I was just wondering if there was a site I could go to that has the songlists for 7-9th styles. I've looked and I just can't find one!
Also, I get the impression that you need a 7-key controller. I'm planning on buying my stuff at Play-Asia.com and I was wondering if the 90 dollar controller they sell is a good one? Here's the link for the controller:
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-88-77-1-15-Beatmania%2Bcontroller-70-3fh.html
I have a Japanese PS2, so I'm set there, I just need the Beatmania stuff.
Thanks for the help! _________________

Now if you don't mind, I have to go play "Pink Dinosaur!" |

Uhm... Seeing as it's the official Konami BeatmaniaIIDX controller... yeah, it's the best one out there. _________________
