That used to happen to me all the time. I didn't do any research on it or anything, but someone told me it was because I was over-exerting myself. I could be wrong, though. _________________

Could be a few causes... exercise can cause an increase in blood pressure, which could cause a headache... dehydration can also lead to headaches... or you could be getting stressed out over your scores, which would also give you a headache. Just in case it's #1, you might want to see a doctor, since that could be dangerous. |

could be "over doing" it...yet I also think that you might need to drink some more water in duration of play, I mean your brain or head, whatever, needs to have some fluid, you know....it needs a form of refreshment....well that's what I think though....yet, maybe a break here and there may help... _________________

well, have you ever read any of those thingys that say the lights could hurt your eyes and cause crap like headaches? i used to get headaches from watching anything like that until i got my glasses. if you dont have any, MAYBE that could be the problem. if you do, you might need a new pair. _________________

LOL yea that's funny. When I first started playing I thought I was nuts but I'm used to it now. Anyone see that picture where you look at Jesus for 30 seconds, close your eyes, and you see it? I guess it's like that. Staring at arrows for way too long.
Most likely I'm overdoing it...I tend to push myself way too hard with most things. (I down a pretty sizeable bottle of Gatorade each time I play so i don't that dehydration is a problem.) Alright, I'll just try to take a bit easier today. Thanks for your input! _________________

dehydration.
Exercise should not give you a headache. Unless you are severly out of shape, in which case you should consult a physician and get approval for any stressful exercise.

Most likely dehydration. You should be drinking at least a quart an hour while playing DDR. Not soda, not gatorade, water. Gatorade is bad for long-term exercise, as you aren't taking in enough fluid overall to expel all the fun toxins you release during exercise.
I personally take a gallon jug of water with me every time I go to the arcade. I usually have to half fill it back up after two hours. _________________

Same thing happens to me. Only its not a headache, its diarrhea.
Anyways, you might want to drink more water, or take a short break between each 5 games or so. |

I usually just get a headache if I overdo it OR the volume is WAY too high on the machine. _________________

First of all, how is diarrhea even close to being similar to a headache? Second, how does drinking extra water help YOUR --ehem-- problem? |
