I need it by Friday, and it's been 2 weeks. So should it be arriving anytime soon? |
I'm highly upset with ps2cover. I didn't recieve my flip top until like 20 days after I ordered it and tomorrow will be the 36th day since i ordered it and I still havent received my swap discs. I emailed them yesterday so I shall see what type of response I get. According to their email that they sent me, they store their fliptops in one warehouse and their swap discs in a warehouse no where close to the fliptops. So they say that they send two separate packages to you. But according to their emails, they say wait 5-15 business days not including weekends or holidays. BS!!! |

um, Breen, it's one package.Did you order the bundle, pr individual items?
oh, some news, apparently there's a switch in the PStwo(new slim fliptop versions)which makes the disc tray appear closed when it's really not, so you can just open it. _________________

im thinking about getting a slidecard, or w/e....maybe even possibly making one? Can anyone help me on that? The tutorial mentioned before kinda...sucks with no pictures...
Also, a stupid question, but isn't this illegal?
And do slidecards damage ur PS2? _________________

No, I ordered the bundle. But they sent me an email detailing what they where doing. They said it would come in 2 separate packages.
From the email:
Quote: | Thank you for your business from all of us here at Ps2Cover.com
Your order has now been shipped out to you. Please allow 5-15 business days for your order to arrive (not counting weekends or holidays, only weekdays)
If your order was for a combo package of a cover and swap magic disc set, please note that your cover and swap magic discs are being shipped separately, from 2 different locations. While they are shipping at essentially the exact same time, you will be receiving them separately and they may NOT arrive on the exact same day. Your cover may reach you before your swap magic discs or vice versa. The reason for this separate shipment is simply because we have stock of the swap magic discs in a different office, and rather than hold up your order while we send swap magic discs to the same office as our covers, we will instead ship them separately and absorb the extra shipping cost for this double shipment on our end.
We value and appreciate your business. Thank you very much!

|
|
Hi:
I have a modchip in my NTSC PS2. I have a LCD television that is compatible with PAL and, of course, NTSC frequency. What is going to happen if I try to play Dancing Stage :Fusion (original)? Is the arrow going to be out of sync like the other PAL dancing games (back up)?
Thank you so much. _________________

Quick question. I've got my ps2 modded with a magic 3.1 and it plays ddr ex jp just fine but when i put in a ps1 game (4th mix) it sees it as just an audio cd and won't ever play it. Any ideas what is wrong or will that chip just not play ps1 games?
Any help is appreciated! |

Try using a PS1 bootdisc... like "PS X-Change 2". PS1 games, use different startup scripting. |

That is really good news! Did you try that modchip with a dancing PAL game? My modchip work with PAL backups, but the arrows are out of sync. boathack wrote: | I've got a Matrix Infinity chip in a V10 PS2, it's supposed to be competition for the DMS3+ chip. I remember some talk of how to play PAL games (Dance Stage) on an NTSC PS2, well the Matrix Infinity will do it. They just released a new firmware for the chip that has the ability to make PAL/NTSC games work in other regions.

Infinity option configuration menu :
------------------------------------
Press TRIANGLE + CIRCLE to enter the configuration menu.
PS2 SCREEN FIX : OFF : Disables PS2 video fix.
COLOR : Games will be output on their original video mode (PAL/NTSC)
with color correction applied to match your PS2 region.
VMODE : Force video mode to match your PS2 region.
PAL60 : Force all games to NTSC with color correction.
Games will run faster but screen might need adjusting.

Okay, I figured I need a Fliptop, but just for kicks, is there a site that teaches you to make a slidecard? I know its bad for your PS2...but....w/e
And If I were to get a Fliptop:
which should I get?
Is it easy to install, as in not too complicated (large room for error)?
If I screw up the install, is my PS2 screwed?
Thanks. _________________

Its hard for some people to install it correctly to make it fit. if i were u, get the one that has PUSH-Button feature build into it.
Bc Push buttion keeps the fliptop cover stays open.
if u get the one that doesnt say, push button feature on it, then u have to hold the fliptop cover while sticking the swap disc inside.
http://www.ps2fliptop.net/order.htm
the solid fliptop black one is the only one that has that push button features for just right now. NOTE: u have to read if to see which will fit ur ps2.
NOTE that some DOESNT COME WITH MEMORY DOORS !!!! U WILL NEED IT ... without it, u cant save ur games.............
ONLY THAT SITE ABOVE ONLY HAS THAT FEATURES ABOUT THE PUSH BUTTON THINGY.
as for making a slidecard. no luck. bc im tired ... and i dont kno what site. |

I am having troble figuring out which version of mother-board I have in my PS2, the model number is: SCPH-30001 R, which, from what I have researched has a version 5 or 6 board. This counsil also is missing the extra skrew inside the expansion bay which indicates that it should be a version 1-4(since its missing). I have a huntch that this counsil is a version 4, but the R at the end of the model number doesn't match up with any of the versions 1-4 model numbers that I have seen on the varios PS2 identification sites. So I'm just woundering if someone can varify off the top of their head weather this is a version 4 5 or 6.
Thanks! |
