I'm loving Pydance cause it actually runs on my low-end machine (SM does not run on it, sadly) and runs well.

The problem I'm finding is that I can't get either the DDR pads or the PIU pads to talk to Pydance. If I hook up the PS2 pads with the blue plastic dongle, it will take input from the buttons but not any of the arrow keys. same with a PSX controller. (Said controller works as a joystick on everything else on here) ... the PIU pads (offical Andamiro variety) don't register events at all when I go to map stuff, actually Pydance doesn't recognize them as joysticks, even though WinXP does.

Anyone use Pydance and know how to get around this? I'm running XP Home.

(Also is anyone knows how to get the Psyco compiler working to speed it up even more that'd be gravy!)

Thank you!

What adapter do you have? If it is a Super Dual Box (I'm just guessing here, since you said it was blue), try holding down up, start, and select for 3 seconds.

See http://www.stepmania.com/stepmania/adapter.php to be sure. You may have a different adapter.

I had a ghetto SJB, it's not quite the real thing. I just ordered the Red Octane one, cause my old ghetto one decided to up and die on me. Between that and J2K I'll give it a whirl.

I'll let you all know what I come up with. Thanks oodles!
