LMAO...that is awesome...and true...you learn to control it...
but as for me... the US extreme mission mode...has almost topped the most angry moment at ddr. BUT... had to be when i was playing Look to the Sky: True Color mix on heavy... a song i can SDG... and the pad messed up and i see my health bar slowly continue to vanish... then i failed the song...i kicked about 4 trash cans that were near by. _________________

Just the opposite. They push back up too hard. _________________

Irresistablement. My brother told me to try it on Heavy and I failed it. I was so upset that I cried. Everyone was at the arcade, too! My husband had to take me home after that.... _________________

Oh god yes. That, and the mission for CSFIL:SM and B4U. Grr..
But anyway, anger from arcade experience. Probably the time I went to try Heaven Is A '57 Metallic Gray on heavy at an arcade for the first time, after passing it with confidence on my own home pad. I saved the song for last...only to discover it hadn't been unlocked yet. I didn't even bother to scroll and see if it was there beforehand...oh yes, very disappointing moment. _________________

I alwasy found that song creepishly hard the first few times, considering how easy the step patterns seem. I think the steps don't quite match the tune. I AA every other time now, though. Weird...
Anyway, one time I was borrowing my friend's PS2 and playing on my PAD (which I'd gotten to play on Stepmania, but my PS2/USB converter sucked). I was playing in my dorm room during my school's homecoming week. A bunch of the frat guy's from across the street (about a half and half mix of drunk and sober) invited me over, so I drug me and my (and my friend's) stuff over there to demonstrate how the game works. (In all reality, I'm just an attention whore.)
So we hook everything up, my pad and my friend's crappy rollout when I fail every song. It doesn't take me long to realize that my left arrow has gone to pieces on me (we later discected the thing and found a tape lead had been severed). My $60 pad, after months of devoted service to my friends and I, had died.
The whole was more emberassing than angering. _________________

Mine was when I was playing a friend (he's between standard and heavy) and he wanted to do love shine.. and he knows I can pass the song with ease on heavy.. so we do it.. and guess what? I end up failing near the end
So embarrassing too, when people watching saw me do much harder songs just before.. _________________

Went to random arcade and failed songs I knew I could pass because of faulty pads.
Prime example:
Alright I'm not a bad player. I used to be able to consistently pass all the maxes and could pass every song except PSMO. Now I can pass every 9 footer and about half the 10 footers. I've AA'd about 15 songs and gotten 12 greats on one song. I'm not the best player in the world but I'm sure as heck horrible at the game.
So I go to somewhere and think "oh! DDR! FUN!" How wrong I was... After an hour of frustration I play AtGoL and pass it with a D trying! Ugh <_<
I later redeemed myself at my arcade by playing 9 footers all day. |

Hmmm, I don't think I've ever damaged anything getting pissed off, but I definately scowled and jumped up and down quite a bit, shaking my fists, and clenching my teeth. I can normally AA 9's and A 10's (except for Max 300, that I AAed). Well, just recently, I was playing 7's and 8's and I wasn't AAing them. On a couple of them, I actually got B's. I was so pissed. _________________

I have yet to pass Maxx Unlimited at the arcade. One day I was playing incredibly, FC until the mid freeze, I start to lose it but stay alive until the very end, and I SWEAR I missed the last step before the freeze and failed it. I was so close to passing it for the first time, fury spilled forth from my mouth and fists. I was just a little upset...*cough* sarcasm *cough* Grr. So now everytime I play it, I remember that moment and it screws me up. I psych myself out of it. And I still throw a fit over it when I fail it, Heh. _________________

Mission mode is aggravating.
Also, it really pissed me off when my RO ignition pad messed up a month after I got it. Every time I hold the left arrow, as to scroll through to pick a song, it brings me back to the previous menu, like I pressed triangle instead. |

I've stormed off of the pad and screamed, "fuck" on numerous occasions.
I have cracked a PSone controller and broken a cheapass Naki soft pad.
I have damaged walls. I have damaged my hands. Punching the bar hurts.
Of course all of this was back when I actually cared. _________________
