That's what I was talking about when I said Jimmy's Jazz. Herring Roe is one of the crazy songs he creates... XD _________________

Yes, but I do believe DayDream is the ONLY song rated higher than Least100.
I can beleive it.
I think the only reason L100Sec is hard is because the drum parts are all over the place. DayDream is just hell on your arms and feet. _________________

[Team-Conglomo] Salient wrote: | well..My kind of thread. In my opinion, The least 100 seconds isnt the hardest song. It has one hard part, the rest is cake. The middle is that one hard part. If you can get by there its cake. I know it is. But having our maching on difficulty 8 or whatever the highest is, doesnt help much. Childrens Sketchbook isnt to hard of a song either. Mostly the beggining is the hard part. The ending and such really isnt to bad. It flows smothly and its only difficult keeping the bass pedal going. Day Dream. Hmm. A short song but very difficult nonetheless. Keeping that roll on the cymbal while having the double kicks and such makes for quite a difficult challenge. Im really leaning towards DD to be the hardest song. I mean, those rolls at the end are so fast. The ride cymbal kills your hand. Theres one break in the song. Your hand is practically dead by the time your done. And you cant use 2 hands on the cymbal with out messing up something else. I say its a dead tie between DD and Herring Roe for the hardest song. Herring roe is ridiculous. I have a friend who can A Stuffl ike Concertino in Blue, Childrens Sketchbook, S Tamyura, etc etc. but who can only get a C on Herring Roe. It has got to have some of the weirdest patterns ive ever seen.
Herring Roe should not be a 97. More like a 98. Same with DD and TL100Sec. I dont think theres any song out there right now that deserves that 99 Rating. Sure Oni Himes hard, but not as hard as DD, Herring Roe, TL100Sec. Id give Oni Hime a 97. I mean, the one point doesnt seem like that much of adifference, but it took me a long while After i could pass 95s and such before i could even think of passing something like Childrens Sketchbook or Tamyura. Then again, I can easily A Tamyura, and ive gotten to the very end of Sketchbook. Those Tom rolls are really hard with a machine thats not in tip top shape. |
Agreed. After playing every single mix (1-10th mix) Day Dream is the only song that still eludes me from getting a S grade. The Cymbal hits are insanely fast and as well as the bass pedal. Granted 4 years and counting someday I will S this song. |

Actually, I personally think Day Dream is easier than Childrens, Herring Roe, Tamayura, and Least 100 sec. It's pretty tiring, but it's a simple pattern. The hardest part is probably the fast rolls at the end. It really depends on the condition of the machine you are playing on. If the machine is perfect, long and fast rolls/cymbal hits are easier. Back when I played a lot, 100 sec gave me the hardest time scoring wise. I haven't played too much of anything after 8th mix, though. |

This is a post from my friend:
I have a problem, and I don't know what the best solution is.
I own the Topway Drum controller, and after like, 10 days, the Drum Pedal Broke. By broke, I mean...well, I'm not sure what is broken, but after taking it apart, I have the two screws, and those square things, but, after putting them in, I cannot get the pedal to "re-fasten", is it? Oh yeah, by broken, well, when you stomped the pedal, it didn't register, hence the taking it apart, to see what might be out of place... Anyway, would anyohe know if there is a weird procedure, for putting them in, besides securing the screws between the bottom and top shell, then screwing it in...also. Is there anywhere that I can just buy a replacement pedal from, or a simple way to make one (I can't sauder), even if it is using the materials I have from the actual pedal, in addition to some other materials...?
Thank you in Advance. ^^
P.S. I have searched the forums, and to the best of my ability, I could not find anything that could help me. If I have missed something, say, a link, I apologize. |

I think the Bafo is the best beginner drumset for the money. It's only $100 and it's a decent set. DTXpress is optimal for the money. And if you have the money to splurge, go with the Roland. The topway set is pure crap. There's the testimony.... 10 days the pedal broke. =\ _________________

Bemanistyle just updated that a new GF/DM mix location test is on its way. Surprisingly it's not called "12th/11th mix" but called "GITADORA V". Song list is on the site. _________________

There has been never been a US release for Drummania. I wouldn't suggest getting the cheap drummania set, cuz I bought mine and it sux cuz its not sensitive enough. _________________

The original Fire is on the home versions of GF 1st and 2nd. Fire Long Ver. is present in GF 3rd in Bonus Track mode, though it's not playable in DM 2nd (it didn't show up in DM until 4th Mix, I believe).
Other than the hidden codes for things like Extreme+ or Free Select modes, there's not much to unlock. The Extra Stage for Normal mode is Cosmic Cowgirl, and for Expert mode it's Say What You Mean. You can choose them normally in Free Select or Extreme+ mode.

i have a question to the DM playas out there...
in your opinion: does DM build on you're normal (non video game) drum playing, or does your non-video game drum playing build on your DM skills? |

well i havent played the drums in a cuple of years but i did play them for a good 10 about and when i first played drummania the rolls and other techniques i knew relly helped to make the game fairly easy (on normal anyway) i figure DM builds your music reading skills and reg drumming will build teqniques (although DM alone could help reg drumming ALOT) _________________
