I was doing Extra Stage on US Extreme repeatedly; scoring bunches of SDG's and Blackflags on TloM. And getting 'A's for them. That's about the most pissed at DDR I've gotten. That, and those damned linear-view missions.
Also did the Blackflag on a good number of songs, too, but that's more painful, and less frustrating. (One Perfect from 'AAA') |

i think the last freeze jump on that song is cursed. I failed the song in the middle of the last freeze. needless to say i was uber p!ssed but i tried it again and i passed it. _________________

Last night was actually the most pissed off I have ever been about DDR. I hadn't played in aobut three days (not like three months or something stupid), but I was doing so horribly. It was like I had stepped back about a year in skill, and it was really pissing me off! I usually try not to swear at the arcade, but I let a few colorful expletives fly last night... _________________
Well, the final total was 207, 342. The fuel pump went out, and since it would cost too much to fix, I donated the Buick to charity.
Fare thee well, Riviera, and God speed. |

I remember trying to pass MAX 300 early last year. I was playing at an arcade in a casino that happened to have their DDR machine close to the front door, so large audiences were common. With a group that had between 40-60 non-players and about 15 players watching me, I got to the very end of MAX 300 and lost it during the final freeze.
I was pissed, but that generated the best game show-style "Awww!" I'd ever heard. _________________

I know I posted this somewhere else, but I can't remember where so...I was at the arcade playing Player's Best nonstop course on Standard and had a full combo going at the end of the second song. Thinking I was going to FC my first nonstop course, I get halfway through the third song and the machine freezes up on me, I break my combo, then fail. The guy sitting on the game next to the DDR machine cursed for me though _________________

I'm really starting to get tired of bad people flipping off the machine and cursing at it when it's obvious that it's their own timing/stepping mistake. Now a lot of the time it is warrented but to the pad not the game itself, but still although I can understand how angry you'd be that you missed your goal, it won't improve the situation and you just look like a cyber-drama-queen. |

I got so pissed at machine one time, in the middle of a song I just walked off it and kicked the machine on the side. I have anger management issues i guess? But I regret it now, because we have to take care of our arcade machines, or no one will. |

It was during the evening and I already was playing DDR for a few hours, so I'm already tired. I was doing IIDX Boss and got up to A Oni. This little moron 4-year old just goes and sits on the pad I'm using as if I'm friggin' invisible. I stopped just in time before I kicked the kid's head and ended up failing. I didn't punch anything, I just walked out.
Another time, there was this kid who songs the lyrics to every song you play. He'll stand on the pad right next to you and sing as loud as he can, which is especially frustrating because I'm trying to PA something. He does it to all my friends too. _________________

I've been doing bad for the last month. The kicker was the last time I played when I didn't AA Kind Lady heavy. That's my guaranteed AA. Even when I'm doing horrible I can still AA that. So now I'm taking a break for a few weeks. _________________

This happened around a week ago. After being able to consistantly get 1-2 greats on WWRY for a month or so, my AAA finally comes up. BUT WAIT, It pad misses me during the end section, where I NEVER get a great, EVER.
The main reason I was so pissed off though- It was my first AAA, ever. And I didn't get to see it on the screen.
I wanted to kill someone at that moment . Luckily the speed of LOM calmed me down nicely . |

I kicked the speaker really hard before. The down arrow stuck, and I failed my best song in front of a big crowd. _________________

I hate playing on pads that are unlike my own, when I end up overstepping or understepping arrows and missing things that I should've hit.
Apart from that, a couple days ago, I was either trying to pass or AA some heavy song, and my dog pokes my leg with her nose, which throws me off and then I fail whatever I was trying to accomplish. _________________

The pads at my arcade are really weak. And i'm really skinny, so 80% of freezes dont register unless i PUSH down as hard as i can.
So last stage, i do Max 300.
Doing great...miss the middle freeze. Its alright. Last run. last three things, no health bar thing left!!! perfect the jump...and the freeze....everyone is silent.
It fades out and i fail.
Big aww from crowd ensues _________________
