I'm on a tight budget and this foam pad is only $40, but is it good?

Or should I wait and buy an Ignition Dance pad?

The foam is probably the cheap kind that all the other Ignition rip offs have. Perhaps you should replace it with a piece of wood as explained in the RyChan mod in RyChan's LJ.
