|
|
As a noob on this forum I find it hard to navigate threads with 2000+ items about a single topic such as soft pads or hard pads....or the latest release.
Any discussion with more than 500 posts requires its own forum, imho.
I run several web sites with extremely popular forums (500,000+ hits a month), so I'm familiar with the problem...or so I think.
Any reason why DDR Console Games (or other forums) can't have sub forums so that the topics are readable?
Example:
DDR Console Games
- Chit chat (sub forum)
- Pad Discussion (sub forum)
- Latest Game Releases Discussion (sub forum)
- etc.
This would sure reduce the number of 'wrong forum noob postings, locked threads....etc and would probably increase site traffic since it will be more readable.
thanks!

Ah, I noticed since last night the new Pad Forum, good job. However, don't you think that belongs under Console? I still stick to my original idea....consoles should have the pad discussion under it.
anyway, thanks...great job on putting the Pad forum up. |

Hey...guess what? This is phpBB 2.0.
Guess what phpBB 2.0 doesn't support?
Yeeeeah.
And we were planning to do some restructuring once 2.2 finally hit the streets. And it would involve use (albeit not gratuitous) of subforums. _________________

Version 2.2 is going to be great. It has so many features to it that should eliminate the majority of problems that are faced with phpBB forums. Here's a preview of what it will be like:
