i hang out in the southwest forum alot and it always happens that ppl ask where the best places to go are in so and so city. no one really minds answering but its like 2 or 3 times a page that ppl ask. i wanted to suggest a sticky in each regional forum in which 1 person from his/her city posts where the good places to go are. for example, i would post where the best ddr places in las vegas are and as it changes i would edit that post. this way, ppl can just check the sticky and not have to post in the city's thread.
thats about it.
so??????

Check out the Midwest Forum. We did that too, and I think that's what your talking about here.

It all depends on having the Southwest mods do it, because I highly doubt that CStarFlare will want to make another one for another forum he doesn't even moderate in, let alone update the one he has going. |

Well this may not be the best of ideas. One, would it have to cover every city or just the popular ones? Two, people may argue about which arcade is the best. And finally do you think they would actually check the sticky, it may end up being pages long if it has debate over which is best and has to cover alot of cities from the same region. For instance I live in tally, FL and there is only one machine but would you include it into the sticky?

the city's thread could choose someone to post and update it as it goes. and probably just the famous or big cities would have a post. also, ddr locations only shows the all the locations, it doesnt tell if its THE place to play or where ppl hang out. maybe i should consult the southwest mod?

I think each location has their own community and following. Personally I don't like the machine that I go to in order to play, but I still go for the community. In fact, I don't like any of the locations I've been to here in Colorado, to me it's pick your evil.

Erm, we just have threads for specific arcades in the NorCal forums. That works. =P
If not, people just create threads and we point them in the right direction then. It's all good really, we're all cool and helpful people.
